Why the devs. not do this in DoW 3 ? :( tons of factions, tons of gamemodes.. :( ... good campaign, good animations... :(( good gameplay... Modding is the future and is amazing... the passion, the love for this... form of art :) grimdark fiction that many of us enjoy :) May the Emperor guide your way, modders :) ...our only hope against the corporate chaos of regression.

Because at that point SEGA was in control of the Publishing and you know how child friendly SEGA is with the majority of their games in their portfolio. This kind of art isn't exactly something that'll sell well with their preferred audience of choice and then you have GW's protectiveness of their IP which probably didn't make for a well-balanced relationship between the three.

@@noticemesenpie69 agreed. Played it first time when I got it on sail. Thought the game looked and felt pretty good. After the campaign I noticed there is no other content.

@@klortikterra4423 I believe in both reality and the video game they are expensive, I wanted to buy a grey knight terminator squad for my ADmech army and just to buy a four or five person team of terminators cost close to $80.

Someone please answer this. So I just started playing this mod about a week or so ago. I was playing survival mode where I was the attacker. You know how you get free troops every so often? Well I eventually got like 8 freaking land raiders! Not to mention a couple tanks! Like wtf was that a bug or is that normal? I know the troops eventually increase in size but it seemed to go from 1 to 100 XD

That is the Punishment mode. Due to the attacker's normal base building AI being shut off during survival first wave all the way to the 10th wave, the base is pretty much defenseless. When the defender go to close to the enemy base, a punishment mode activates where uber units come in full force for the ultimate army slaughter. Basically playing as the attacker is pointless, as you can never loose. On the other hand. As the defender, you can have the reinforcement victory condition on. Giving you a steady stream of unique uber units more balanced for the game.
