I don’t think these 270 Awnings add much shade at all. Every video I see has minimal shade coverage.

Thanks for the overview! To me, the plastic pieces are a turnoff. What can you tell me is better about this product thatm the Tuff Stuff 270 degree awning for $100 cheaper? Thanks!

You mean the green NYLON pieces that hinge the support poles? It's an intentional design and I believe they offer some built in flexibility. There is also the Overland Pro but runs about the same $$. Ironman backs up their products and I've had their suspension systems and run the Foam Cell Pro on my Tundra - Happy customer.

@@thebigempty_5792 No, I meant the joint areas. I should have been more clear. Ironman states “We use a more flexible plastic for the joints preventing breakage.”

I have the same canopy on my ranger. This awning is exactly what I am chasing but I need to know what roof racks suit this to secure it too. As I’m having trouble finding a roof rack to suit.

Hi Beau, the mounting system will suit most racks that run T-slot channels. Yakima, Rhino etc.

Hey Beau, you probably have the pinnacle canopy which is unable to support roof racks for this style setup

@@khairinkadir9636 The XTR features a stronger 40mm C-Channel roof structure which allows it to be set-up freestanding in calm conditions. The XT features a 25/23mm telescopic structure and requires the support legs to be dropped at all times.
