We put on the final touches to our Suzuki Jimny!
Mic installed the audio system, Takla Products gave us some brand new seat covers and we fit our brand new Ironman 4x4 uber lite rooftop tent.
With most of the weight added to the Jimny the last step was to fit the Ironman 4x4 Suspension kit.

Originally you stated it has a very low weight carrying capacity. It would be nice to have a total weight of of everything removed and then a total weight of everything added. This would give a good indication of where the weight is at.

Good video and would be great to see the tent, shower and canopy unfolded in everyday use.

I have the same 200L roof bag on my y62 Patrol. I'm able to store 4 sleeping bags and all of our air mattresses or sleeping pads in there. Saves me so much more space inside back of the car. Especially since I have 2 kids under 5 so we have to bring a TON of extra supplies for them

Also, I'd go for hiker equipment such as small gas cookers and gas canisters. I have specific ones in mind. Also small aluminium kettle, not the foldable silicone. Sandwich size braai grid. And so on... I can advise further if interested.

@ironman4x4Africa how did you get around the weight limit constrains of the Jimney roof? You mentioned that the weight limit of the roof is less than 30kg earlier?

Looks great and quite practical. I just think the fridge is far too bog for this application, space wise. I would have gone for a 32 liter in a boxed area where one can store items on top and also the open space alongside will be bigger.

Die Jimny lyk awesome! Ek wonder net hoekom julle nie ook klankdigting onder die enjinkap gesit het nie? Julle het die moeite gedoen met klankdigting in die bakwerk, maarniks om die enjingeraas te verminder nie?

How for overloaded is the roof with this setup. JB74 only has a 30kg roof load limit!

Hi! On website is this Uber Lite tent listed as 47kg. Yet in video is said under 40. Looking at construction, I would say video is right, but I would really like to know actuall weight. Thank you!

I would guess-estimate the total add-on weight to be around the 120-150kg mark.

Having seat cover with airbag, greatly danger even with deployable seams, it increases the time of deployment. Air diploy after accident 😢 ( milli seconds)

Is this safe and insurable? Suzuki states that the maximum roof load is 30kg.

Hey. What size roof rack have you equiped? You have mentioned it is “slightly larger than standard for jimny”. I would like to order rack for whole roof too, so dimensioms would be really helpful. Thank you !
