@prsguitars92 He power jerked his Gold-winning 235 kg lift in Barcelona. Weighed less than 90 kg at the time, too... mind-blowing.

how is he underrated? as a triple Olympic champ and world record holder, I think he's pretty widely regarded as one of the greatest ever.

well theyre both considered greats in the weightlifting community. its just that people on the outside have heard of dimas much more than kakhiashvili

This is unbelievable technique,form and performance in general (all the things that you need to put together in order to make complete performance like this,as well as athlete like him). I hope that my touchpad still working good from taping it while I was watching this video,cause I wanted to "catch" (his) basic technique and all the finesse I can see or recognize here.... It so fast and explosive that video of 2min. took me at least 10min. to actually succeed in that idea to do it...:)

GeoegeDedaj you are saying that isnt greek ,in many interview Dimas accepts his Greek descent and if you dont trust take a look at wikipedia: ''Dimas was born in Himarë,Albania, to ethnic Greek parents...Pyrros' first name has Ancient Greek heritage in the region that he was born associated with Pyrrhus of Epirus.''

+ThubanDeneb Yeah that's insane. I know he was better at the clean and jerk than the snatch but he still set a world record in the snatch too. I think it was 188.5 kg.

If you haven't seen it yet then you need to: it's one of the best lifts ever caught on camera. He fucking push jerked it. Guy had an absolutely freakish amount of power in his hips.
