Ride at the speed that makes you happy not everyone else's pace or one that makes you uncomfortable there is no trophy on the other end of that corner. @Ace Yummy Super low; however, I've seen it happen twice One time dude was leaking out a Major artery because a small stick went up the back of his helmet and punctured it He lost a lot of blood and had to be med flighted

The offender is me in the video. Had James do a bunch of work on the bike last fall and what an amazing job he did. Turned my ZRX into a really special corner carving machine. I was really enjoying it. Sorry that it happened. Still sick about it. I broke my fibula in two places, broken foot, compression fracture in my spine. Had surgery last wednesday and today is the first day im off pain meds.

@@lukeaclarkeb5602 oh wow, how long ago was the accident? Thats painful to see such a beautiful bike go down, but it happens to everyone eventually and you are still alive so that's the main thing. I'm glad the bike wasn't destroyed and I hope you have a speedy recovery! Are you able to give me any info on what's done to the bike? It's a real head turner!

@@jonnymac8925 happened May 9th and glad to be alive. I didnt know how bad i was hurt until hours later when the adrenaline wore down. James did some amazing work to my bike, everything was updated minus the engine, and i was beyond thrilled with how it was transformed into an absolute weapon on the street. Shocks, brakes, rotors, carbs, wheels, handlebars, rear sets omg just an amazing job. @@r.v.b. thanks man, i even got back on the bike and started it up, and was trying to get it into gear to take off, but my leg and foot were not moving at all, i remember thinking why isnt my leg and foot moving.

LUCKY it wasnt 15 feet later cuz he would have smashed into that downed tree!! Biggest fear I have at the Dragon is the zero runoff and all the downed tree's...its TRULY a ton of luck if you go down there....that you dont slam into something HARD

Lost the rear a bit, then did his biggest mistake; Looked where he did NOT want to go. Bike follows head, follows eyes. Eyes, head, bike. Look were you want to go, let the bike move around under you. RIP Kawi! Glad he was not seriously injured. Way to show solidarity and kindness towards fellow bikers.

Went in a little hot, got a little slide and couldn’t compensate because there was no room left for error. Considering how heavy he fell, I’m impressed there’s no serious injuries or damages to the bike. All in all, those kind of lessons aren’t terrible.

As a fellow ZRX1200 owner glad youre ok and the big tough Kawa stood up to the crash with little damage. Do you have an engine cut out fitted if the bike goes over? These engines dont like running on their side. Engine failure can result later down the line.

running through trees like that makes it ugly, has nothing to do with the resolution... Gopros don't change light very well, and if you aren't locking it down on a setting and using filters, it makes shots like this horrible looking... 4K would look horrible too....

It’s 100% under your control how you ride. It’s a lot easier said than done, but riding your own ride is so crucial for longevity in motorcycling.

Im the guy who crashed. Still sick about it and broke a few bones but i will fully recover. I had made several passes that day with Max around with no issue. Was having a great day, riding comfortably with no pressure. I lost traction and was also distracted by the supermoto (not his fault) and the rest is history.

@@lukeaclarkeb5602 that happened to me in ACH the old guy told me not to follow him cuz he's fast and he's been riding there since the 80s but my ego said nah i wont listen to this old guy i can handle it. I was riding an R1 at that time. Long story short i end up crashing and he went back at me "I told u not to go fast".

Dude you need to take a trip over to the Isle of Man TT races if you love speed you will love it there. Take a look at the Isle of Man TT starts the last week of May and the first week of June the oldest and most dangerous road race in the World.

oof i have done the same thing att the same speed exept with a scooter. somebody tried to steal my scooter so they had bent the connections between the handlebar and the front wheel. so in the middle of a corner my handlebar just attached from the wheel and i flew in to the ditch. nothing broken but it did fuck up my shoulder a bit

It really did. I was expecting so much more damage. Looked like a ton of leaves in that ditch to act as cushion. Probably saved them both from extensive damage. ✌️

It was the bad spot in the road that screwed him up...not from going to fast on a big bike. They need to repave it during winter to fix those spots!

Too much braking, stood the bike up mid-corner and pointed it straight at the ditch. Non-ABS model? Sucks but hopefully all repairable! Very cool bike. I agree, big bike to be flying through such a small pass.
