Use to be at 85,000 miles like clock work you would have to change air suspension and head gasket would follow. The dealership use to call me around 60,000 miles see if I want to trade it in before the cars started to fall apart (we had a great relationship lol). Even with that being said I have always loved them.

@@jideo.4832 Yes I have had a couple p38's and A 08 hse. Love the range Rover but they are hands down the most unreliable car ever made. I went to buy a 2015 lwb Took it to my mechanic and after checking it out he found it had a history of electrical problems. I decided to just buy another escalated. Nice review of a nicely kept vehicle, my compliments to your parents! I quite like the sensible wheels it is wearing, along with its non-bling spec. The car as it is exudes class in a refined,.dignified and understated way.

Props from the USA. Great review! Your passion brings out all the details of what makes the price tag worth while. Enjoyed going for a ride on your cruiser 🤙. I would agree with the constructive criticism. Get the car detailed before the review. Obviously need some wind noise control. Dam, that thing is thirsty, how hot will it be when they have an electric version? Hope you can get another 100k on that thing...$.50/mile is a bargain for such a luxury and capable vehicle.

Title is a bit confusing but it could just be me. I came here because I’m in the market for a 2014 w/ high miles and I wanted to educate myself on what mechanical headaches (if any) that I needed to look forward to if/when I decide to purchase. What I got was a Motor Trend/Car & Driver type review. What I wanted was things to be aware of: engine failure, suspension replacement costs, oil leaks, and such.

Find yourself a good independent dealer. Land Rovers are terrific vehicles but need proper maintenance. If you try to run one on the cheap and miss services you will end up with massive bills or even end up scrapping it. If you are anywhere near Halifax area I can highly recommend Stonelake as an independent Land Rover dealership. Would be helpful if other owners could list dealerships they have found to excel.

Like any vehicle if owned from new you have the knowledge of its history and how its been used. I've had mine since almost new in 2011 and I know it's never been abused and driven at ridiculous speeds . After 10 years at a humble 85k it still drives like new. Well I just bought one with 100K miles on it! 😂 The car was maintained perfectly. There’s nothing like a Range Rover.

How much does it cost to run it? ( insurance, tax, full tank of petrol?)

Beautiful but horrible car. At least statistically, and for all models. Lots of bling on the outside, major major mess on the inside. Like most luxury vehicles anyway.

Cost per mile is eyewatering - £800 car tax, shit fuel consumption, ripoff servicing costs and off-a-cliff depreciation. But.... I'm really happy that some people like to give others employment through paying for all this rubbish. 😂🤗

Your Comment cries of bitterness and jealousy. No one is forcing you to buy one. There great cars if you can afford them and look after them. Best in class by miles.
