The biggest difference, and an important one, is that the grand national was a high performance version of a plain-jane car. Half of the legacy is that it was a sinister sleeper from the factory. Given that the v6 mustang ( and camaro, and challenger) are cars where a much higher performance version is available, they don’t have a sleeper effect. Its a platform built for more power, rather than a platform built for far less. Thats not to rag on boosted v6’s, but rather to say the comparison doesn’t work for me.
@PeterGriffin-kb2hf Жыл бұрын

@@GOPACKERSJT I mean it's kinda true. The 3.7 sounds like complete ass and lacks low powerband torque like the 3 valve.

I had purchased an 05 4L after rolling an 89 5.0 hatch. I purchased it because I was young and my parents were scared of me having the GT after rolling my last car. (Little back story; I rolled the car after pulling it out of storage and the next day it was freezing rain) back to the point I still have that car and had alot of fun with it when it was new. I've never had to do anything major mechanically and believe it or not it was faster then my my fox 5.0 and some of the stock fox 5.0s on the street due to mostly their power loss in age. I am fixing up that car and preping it for a shelby power train swap but that 4L treated me good even though I still beat the shit out of it.

Bro I've been watching you for about 5 years, and I hate to say this but you need to reinvent your channel. I feel bad seeing you not getting the views vs the ratio to the amount of subscribers you have. Tommyfyeah gets comparable views to you with about 800,000 less subscribers. I'm just merely suggesting you do something different, maybe like a daily vlog, working on new builds in those vlogs, just something different. Love yah man just wanna see you get the views I know that are there.

What people don't realize is that the V6's value is going to tank worse than the V8. Doesn't matter whether you boost it or not you're wasting money and depreciation/appreciation will never be good on a V6 Mustang.

@@leonardo179_ not always do people have money for a V8 either tho.. I don't think most people take that into consideration.. Either that or the V8 is just a lil too much for them so they get the next best thing which happens to be better for them because it's better for everyday use with gas mileage, and such of the latter

I like how hes giving v6s a chance. Im getting a v6 for a few reasons mostly because im only 19 and insurance would hang me out to dry for owning a v6, i plan on driving this car daily, and i am a little worried about having gas money on hand for a v8 but not a v6. I mean someday i do plan on upgrading to a v8 maybe in my late 20s but for now a v6 will be more than good enough especially with aftermarket items
@blueridge89925 жыл бұрын
I had one just like this except it was a Premium and it was absolutely fantastic. Just enough power to hoon and the engine sounds great when you rev it out. Cheap to buy and cheap to mod too. I did Air raid intake, MBR Exhaust, MPT Tune, and Steeda springs all for like $1500. The problem isn't that the cyclone cars are bad, it's that the GT is just better in every way. And these days an S197 GT is really not that much more than a 3.7. If I had some extra cash I'd pick up an early S550 3.7 to hoon on backroads and a '19 GT to actually build. One thing is for certain though, no one should buy an Ecoboost Mustang under any circumstances.
