So I finally caved and decided the Ram 3500 Cummins build is going full out - So I ordered the Carli Sway bar to continue the suspension/front end upgrades - Thoughts on it are in the video!

Good selection. I had one on my '09 CTD 2.5" King suspension & had a Thuren Sway Bar on my '12 CTD. It diffently compliments the suspension.

I have the commuter on my 12 powerstroke Carli suspension is unbelievable! I've let people that drive diesels try her out always a comment about the ride quality.

Jay, I think you have made some great additions to your truck. I have a 2016 Ram 3500 Megacab and am also adding accessories. Your videos have given me some great ideas. The way I think about it is like this, if your happy with the accessories you get thats all that matters. Good parts cost money, period. I think to the regular working man it means a lot that you get quality parts when you can. I think I will also go with the Leveling Coils and then go with Moto Metal wheels. Keep updating the progress on your truck.

Lol maybe Carli can start making seatbelts so you'll start wearing one. To be fair, I forscan'd away all of my seatbelt chimes.

I went with a hellwig adjustable sway bar so I can have more or less stiffness out of the sway bar for better tuning. I was running a 4 link with semi truck air bags, 4 bilstein 5100 shocks and a stock sway bar. It had tons of body roll then. I changed it all after that to coilovers, hellwig, and I changed the panhard to have a better center of gravity and it gave it a much better ride.

Jay Flat Out it's been a labor or love and a publicity stunt in progress haha. I like having vehicles handle like they're on rails so I'm chasing that idea for a lifted truck.

Sweet dude. Another informative vid. Hey, what would you recommend for a 1.5-2.0" lift/level for a 2007 Tahoe. No expense spared... your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I don't think the Tahoe usually sits nose down does it? But if that's the look you want to go for it's really what you like. I probably wouldn't if you tow with it.

My tires are wearing on the outside on dually in front just replace upper lowers bearings and got new tires and it keeps doing got alignment too any suggestions

@@diegomaldonado5527 another good option (what I did) is the BD Diesel sway bar end links $190. Very stout over the stock end links and gave me a better ride down the road. I also replaced the sway bar bushings ~$25.

Also......save money by not upgrading the radius arms. Look in getting coil replacement for the spacers.

James Miller Changed the spacers for Carli 2.5" coils (see latest video) yesterday actually. Ride improvement is nigh and day. Still considering radius arms though

The only thing is beefier are the end links if you look at the thread in the middle it looks a lot lot thinner then the original sway bar link.

Unless you are going racing any adjustable sway bar is found to do exactly the same thing with in reason. In other words for street use you will never know the difference between a $300 or $700 sway bar

Both of my sway bars are disconnected for nice soft daily driving, the only time I hook em up is when I put my top heavy cab over camper on. A 3/4 ton truck doesn't really need em for daily driving.

Hi Adam, what kind of truck did you disconnect the bar on? I now have 2018 2500, diesel, megacab. Considering pulling mine off entirely also. I don't carry top-heavy loads, just towing. My last truck, 2005-2500-quadcab-diesel-no lift, I pulled the sway bar off and ran like that for 6 years, never a problem, and rode much smoother. I towed very heavy, (20k-up to sometimes 30k trailers) with 3-axle gooseneck trailers, still never had problem with body roll then.

@@benherstad 2001 dodge 2500 diesel, and Ya I've towed 10k that way. In my opinion sway bars are mostly for hauling ass on smoother surfaces. Or trying to street drive a really loose rock crawler with super soft springs.

I looked at Carli..and I think they are the best. I went with Pure Performance complete front and rear suspension change out with 2.5 Fox adj. shocks. Look into bags, I have the ones that automatically adjust once set up the first time with barely any air in them and they come w 2 compressors and one thing that really helped ride on my F350 was a sulastic shackle in the rear.. check it out on You Tube. +Jeff Jassby I've been thinking about doing bags on the rear, I've seen there are new compressors that are actually inside the air tank so they don't make as much noise I was interested in

Mine make a little noise..they are mounted way up above my frame on both sides...but what I like is that when I fill my 36 gallon tank which happens to be on the drivers side and when I fill up it levels automatically...I don't have to touch anything. Secondly I have 2 employees that weigh over 350 lbs and ride in the passenger rear and as they get in the bags on that side start automatically level my truck out. Cool set up, softens ride and when I pull these 40 Skaters long haul on a fifth wheel she does her job.

I believe stage 4 with the exchange for the Fox shocks was right at 5100.00..thats both front and rear. On your 2014 2500 6" lift www.pure-performance.biz/category-s/2134.htm

So you buy the cheap version of the Ram and then you push a bunch of money into it. Seems backwards. Get the Laramie or Limited if you're going to put money in something.

If you want the ride to be more comfortable... put airbags on it. Rides like a limo and you can still hit the dirt roads! Carli is too much for what it does.

Not always the case, i had airbags on my 2015 Ram 3500 and i hit lease roads and offroad everyday for work. It causes the truck to have a double bounce when going over bumps.. and thats not good when you got tools in the back

@@JayFlatOut I did all around on my second truck. I only did back on my first and it helped a lot. I did the front on my second truck because I have a heavy ranch hand bumper with a winch on it. The second truck is also lifted with a 3 inch body lift and the airbags gave me a 3 inch suspension lift. That allowed for the 38 inch tires and a 3 inch lift doesn't need crazy mods to everything else.
