I just put a strut tower brace on my Crosstrek. It definitely changed the steering feel, particularly when taking a fast corner over an uneven surface. It seems like a modification that works better for some vehicles, probably based on how strong the strut towers are from the factory.

I run Carbing strut bar on my 98 gst. Hits the turn about pretty good but it also gives more work for the tires to do.

dc sports is what I used for front and back, the front didn't really allow for the hood to close perfectly but I don't remember if it was because of my mods or just the bar. They were steel though. No play. Huge difference.

where do you find the dc sports bar for the front? I only find it for the rear

I have the same one in my '97 Spyder but in gunmetal gray, my car's feels like it's on rails. Noticed you may have missed a step during the install; you must twist the strut brace to set the preload. The bar should definitely be stiifer and not have the amount of play that's apparent in you vid. Cheers 👊
