When I worked in group-home care (I/DD) we had a client sneak out and attempt to run away because she thought she was the daughter of a popular country singer, and through another client's device got in contact with a Facebook scammer using the country singer's name who was trying to get money out of her, saying they'd meet up and he'd take her away, etc. She ended up walking up to a random house and knocking on the door, conveniently (and thankfully) it ended up being the QIDP's house.

I think she’s grown up in an abusive home and without a father around and has maladaptive dreamed Justin is hers and used this secret daughter fantasy online as an escapism from her real life.
