This week on Perfect Scents, I review CK Everyone by Calvin Klein.
This fragrance was new at the start of 2020 (which feels way longer than 8+ months ago). It is genderless AND sustainable, so the pizazz factor is already raging! It is decorated with a removable elastic band that pays homage to the Calvin Klein underwear brand and can be utilized as a hair band, rubber band, etc.
"Everyone" is a clean, slightly citrusy scent that, as promised, could be worn by anyone. It starts with a little orange and ginger, wearing into clean aqua notes. There is not a strong, heavy base here, which lends to the gender fluidity, but also takes away from long-lasting wear.
• Price: $55 for 1.7 oz and $67 for 3.4 oz
• Notes: Orange oil gives way to aqua notes with a tiny patchouli base (not overwhelming)
• Reminds me of: Clean sheets; perhaps a laundry room
• You'll like it if: You're looking for a neutral scent for office wear (or home wear if you're quarantined these days!)
Perfect Scents Rating:
• Affordability; 4/5
• Availability: 4/5
• Staying Power: 3/5
• Pizazz Factor: 5/5
• Total: 16/20
