You are right to some extent. I have won entire games by GBing because the opponent refused to throw a light or dodge attack. Their only neutral was heavy feint.

i keep getting hit by dodge attacks because i overestimate my opps smartness and i keep thinking that he wont dodge attack randomly cause thats stupid but they do and i get hit

​@@user-dy9nr9yg4owhen your move covers multiple options of your opponent. Dodge attack on enemy's heavy is an option select, because it wins against letting the heavy fly and also feinting to guardbreak

​@user-dy9nr9yg4o I'm a little late to your reply but an option select is a move that covers two possible outcomes from the enemy. For example, if the opponent throws a heavy and feints into a gb. A light crushing counter from highlander or kyoshin etc would option select that because it would counter the heavy and would also not be caught by the gb. The opponent has to read that you will throw a light instead.

@@curtissweeney5211 also a bit late but just wanna point out that an option select isnt nessecarily just a move that covers/wins against multiple outcomes, and has more to do with "exploiting" the games move priority system to do different moves/counters depending on which option the enemy chooses to do. The reason that a crushing counter isnt an option select is because regardless of if the enemy commits the attack or feints into guardbreak, you will always perform a light attack, which just happens to win against a guardbreak attempt and a follow-through. The old OS' like Zone OS, GB OS, Offensive Stance OS, Emote OS etc. you'd usually sneak in a heavy attack input while performing your Option Select input, which would let you use that move as a parry while performing a completely different move if there wasn't a parry. Meaning where normally doing (for instance) a light and a heavy, throwing out the zone takes higher priority than throwing out a heavy, but if you did that zone input during parry timing it will instead respect the heavy input allowing you to parry the attack. And the reason that worked was because the game would most times prioritise the heavy lower than any other input you'd combine it with, EXCEPT when performing a parry. Stuff like Zone OS was kinda fine imo because they were punishable (even if extremely defender sided), but emote OS and HL/Conq charge heavy OS were completely safe and unpunishable even if you knew ahead of time they were gonna do it. just wanted to explain the difference :)

Talking about what happened, how I didn’t expect something, some read that didn’t make sense to me, or how, in some cases, I got completely ripped off, isn’t an excuse, it’s just the fact of what happened that I’m stating and relaying to the viewers. But, if you see it that way, I won’t argue with you, all love from me brother!

You clearly aren't familiar with the famous Green Goblin quote from Sam Raimi's trilogy lol and that's a personal opinion of yours, so maybe don't speak for everyone? 🤔 Personally I find it extremely entertaining when this guy loses, particularly when he just straight-up gets outplayed because he always makes excuses for when he loses except in those extremely rare instances when he actually admits the other person is better. Between that and posting very little losses, I'd say our boy's deadly sin is Pride 😂

Totally a personal thing, "we" was just a phrase like "you love to see it" where it doesn't actually mean exactly what I said

I actually don’t only post wins, I post 90% of the losses I take, and very rarely don’t for various reasons. Some think it’s pride keeping me from not posting the other 10%, but that’s just not the case. I won’t argue though, just gonna put that out there and people can take it for what they will. If you think I’m hiding more than 10% just look up my win% and you’ll see why there aren’t as many losses as people would like to see.

@@nathanflinchum1153 I would. She's got versatile defensive options with flips, crushing counters, and a superior block dodge, she has high damage punishes on everything, a strong mixup. The only two things she doesn't have is hyper armor and a full block. She's an absolute beast
