I’m taking my Shahada soon. Over the last few years I was lost, I didn’t know who I am, what’s my purpose in life. I left Christianity when I was 14, because I felt overwhelmed and it wasn’t it. But this year, at the age of 21, I started researching Islam, reading Quran and Hadiths. Now I’m learning how to pray. I’m going thriugh a very difficult time in my life now but I just know this is it, Allah is just testing me. He guides me on the right path. Alhamdulillah I finally found myself 💜

Then I came to Islam declared the shahada… Still an alcoholic trying to stay sober it’s a disease. I am sober today thanks to Allah, Alhamdulillah. Islams many problems; ;;; -many different Arabic qurans (not just one), but different books with MANY different words like HAFS and WARSH have 5000 word/meaningdifferences!!! -200 dumb mistakes in quran(s) - corrupted oldest (6 different incomplete manuscripts, 8th century =/- 100 years after Mohhamed) qurans (research with photos DR Daniel Brubaker. -development of Arabic language AFTER "completion" quran(s), Vowels (the Arabic DOTS) were added later and create new word-possibilities. -the false Kaaba in Mecca, there is a tremendous amount of reliable evidence that the "original"Kaaba was in Petra (Jordan) (A LOT OF OVERWELMING EVIDENCE!!!) research DAN GIBSON. - Taweed is corrupted by quran (Hafs) itself mainly verses 33;56 and 112;1 (key words SALAH and AHAD , true meaning in Arabic include OTHER GODS besides Allah) - the Black stone (a pagan practice "kissing it and sins are gone???!!) was DESTROYED, current stone is said to be a fake (with possible remnants of original in it?) -Mohhameds lack of miracles -Mohhameds immoral behaviour (COMPARE TO OTHER HOLY MAN FROM OTHER RELIGIONS mohhamed was a MAFIA leader/criminal. -Mohhameds false prophecies ; mainly in hadith but also quran 54;1). ---Mohhameds DEMONPOSSESSION, Gabriel was likely a DEMON that posed as an angel, Mohhamed initially believed he was demonpossessed, and therefor tried to KILL HIMSELF many times, only after (wive) Kadidya did a ""demontest"" (was it genuine/really a reliable test???undressing herself...!!!) Mohhamed started his "religion", many others were having doubts about Gabriel being an angel. -Mohhameds seems to be missing from history in first 70 years, : why does nobody mention him? + many more

It says "khamr", which is a very specific term for the kind of fermented fruit product made in the Hedjaz and Najd area (most commonly from grapes but perhaps other fruits or even dates might have been used as sources of sugar). I would advise you against using Quranic translations where the meaning of the words has already been chosen for you. Always read the Quran with the original next to it. It does not say "intoxicant" and as such the verse is more specific and cannot easily be used to also include other types of intoxicating substances.

Dear humble Christian, Islam stresses the notion that God is able to and forgive all sins, if a person truly repents and then refrains from repeating it. God does not need any blood sacrifice for that, let alone descend in the form of man himself and die for every mans sins. Rather, God‟s mercy extends to all creatures, believers and disbelievers alike. The door to forgiveness is open to anyone who seeks it. The Islamic view of Jesus lies between two extremes. The Jews, who rejected Jesus as a prophet, called him an imposter, while the Christians, on the other hand, considered him to be the son of God and worship him as such. Islam considers Jesus to be one of the greatest and most forbearing of prophets, in addition to Noah, Abraham, Moses and Muhammad, may God praise them. Jesus is also considered to be the Messiah as well. This is in conformity with the Islamic view of the Oneness of God, the Oneness of Divine guidance, and the complementary role of the subsequent mission of God‟s messengers. Muslims, like Christians believe that Jesus performed miracles. These miracles were performed by the will and permission of God, Who has power and control over all things. God sent all prophets with miracles specific to the nation to whom they were sent to prove the veracity of their message. These miracles were not performed of their own accord; rather, they were only manifest in their hands by Gods will. The miracles performed by Jesus were no different. The Jews were well advanced in the field of medicine, and the miracles which Jesus brought were of this nature, proving the truth of His message and in order to convince the Jews. Like Christians, Muslims believe that Mary was a chaste, virgin woman, who miraculously gave birth to Jesus. Jesus‟ birth in itself was a miracle in that he had no father. This fact, however, does not necessitate that Jesus is divine in essence or spirit, nor is he worthy of worship, for Adam‟s existence was more miraculous than that of Jesus. If his miraculous birth were a proof that Jesus was God incarnate or His son, then Adam would have more right over this divinity than him. Rather, both are prophets who were inspired with revelation from God Almighty, and both were servants to Him living according to His commandments. Throughout the Quran, Jesus is identified fundamentally as a prophet of God sent to the Jews who had over time deviated from the teachings of Moses and other messengers. Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, was the last in the line of Jewish prophets. He lived according to the Torah, the Law of Moses, and taught his followers to do likewise In the generations after Jesus‟ departure from this world, his teachings were distorted and he was elevated to the status of God. Six centuries later, with the coming of Prophet Muhammad, the truth about Jesus Christ was finally retold and preserved eternally in the last book of divine revelation, the Quran. Furthermore, many of the laws of Moses, which Jesus followed, were revived in their pure and unadulterated form and implemented in the divinely prescribed way of life known as Islam, while many other aspects and injunctions of the laws which had been brought by the earlier prophets were lightened or dropped. Consequently, the reality of the prophets, their uniform message, and the way of life which they followed, can only be found preserved in the religion of Islam, the only religion prescribed by God for man. Muslims today actually follow Jesus and his true teachings. Their way of life is much more in tune with the way of life Jesus practiced than any of the modern day “Christians.” Love and respect of Jesus Christ is an article of faith in Islam, and God stressed the importance of belief in Jesus in numerous places in the Quran The message of God to humanity, which is to worship God and God alone and to live according to His instruction, was revealed to Adam (peace be upon him), who passed it on to his children. All the subsequent revelations to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and, finally, Muhammad are in conformity with that message.

First of all Islam is not a new or separate religion but a continuation of the unitary God centred belief system that began with Judaism, or perhaps even before. Secondly Allah's purpose in sending messengers to mankind is not to glorify Himself but to improve the human condition! We seem to have forgotten that and have become focused on rituals, most of which are founded by scholars outside of the Quran, so hadith becomes central to create this scholar centred religion. We seem to believe that Islam is only about prayers, haj, fasting, prohibition of zina, women's head covering, capital punishment for dozens of offenses, alcohol consumption, etc. What about the moral values that are essential for human development? Honesty, compassion, tolerance, justice, knowledge, equity and so on! Look at the Islamic societies around the world; most of them are dictatorships, poor, unjust, illiterate, corrupt, intolerant, lack compassion and charity! That is why they are at the bottom of most social and economic indicators of the world! The Muslim ummah has serious problems and the excessive religiosity of the past 50 years has done nothing to address them! Finally, with regards to the LGBTQ, you do not have to approve of actions contrary to the Quran but treat the people who act in this way with equity, compassion and respect! They will be judged, as all of us will be judged, in the hereafter by Allah! Every person is only responsible for his/her actions!

@ . Cigarettes can't intoxicate you. And obviously if it's for medical reasons (codeine and crap) it's okay.

@ Any intoxicant is prohibited including cigarettes, they are allowed under taqia rule if it threaten your life. A prohibition can become allowed if and only if it threatens your survival, hence necessary medical applications are allowed. In fact the use of it as antiseptic was very widespread in the olden days.

Don’t mind those who constantly criticize you. They’re actually the ones who dare not admit that they've certain flaws. That’s why they will strongly defend themselves if you tried to help them. Pray for them, and take whatever they say with a huge pinch of salt!

I swear these days the youth are literally asking for the Quran to mention alcohol by brand in order to believe that alcohol is prohibited

Watch quran centric’s video on the topic, it makes way more sense. And then doesn’t make you stumped when you realise all sultans, caliphs, prophets, etc drank wine

@@lets_wrapitup For prophets before muhammad salla allah alayhi wa salam yeah you are right because alcohol was not prohibited by allah at the time everyone used to drink even when the message was sent i mean in the very first period of the revelation his campagnons were drinking because it was a normal thing Then there was a verse from allah right after god commanded muslims to pray which said do not approch prayer when you are drunk because a person when he is drunk he won't practice his prayers or any other pillar properly then The second verse has came which prohibited completly drinking even a sip of alcohol is considered as a sin because a little will lead to more you understand? The quran was not sent directly and complete it came on phases everytime there was a verse sent from god to the prophet through gabriel the angel The same thing happened with moses and jesus there were things that were normal by the time of moses but changed and were been prohibited by god at jesus' time And for the sultans and caliphs The 4 caliphs right after the prophets death never drunk after the prohibition But before the prohibition they did yes And the sultans who came after some of them( not all) really committed the sin so simply they were sinners and desobeyed god's will it's to allah to judge them for their sins after all
