You would be amazed what you learn of the biblical prophets in islam and the story would sound realistic to you. So much that, the jewish Rambam, studied islam just to undertsand monotheism at high degree. We do not deny the rambam, who come from the Jewish tribe, submitted himself to Ellah. I've met some people of the christian movement offering the greeting of salaam and practicing the daily prayers which muslim and jew do (i was the only one amazed here, Christians submitting to will of Alah). Some stories are more detailed in Bible, some stories are more detailed in Qur'an. For example, the story of Moses( Musa ), is more brief in the chapters of Exodus, whereas story of Joseph( Yusuf ) is more detailed in Qur'an.
