William Craig is scary lol. He's definition of justice is weird. Does all the murders, rape, and everything can be punished by only one crucifixion ? It's like getting a slap for having killed someone

Indeed WLC definition of justice is so narrow and absurd. His definition of just means always punishing. I.e God cannot be just unless He always punishes sin. To everyone else just means fair/not oppressive. He is basically is super imposing his own definition to justify a crucified son of God to entail it as logically necessary. Very poor argument.

The Islamic concept of God is that He is loving, merciful, and compassionate. But Islam also teaches that He is just and swift in punishment. Nevertheless, Allah once said to Prophet Muhammad, "My mercy prevails over my wrath." Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair. O people accept the Truth and Get ready of judgements.

Mohammad was no prophet. Such a human being could never be. He was a warlord, caravan robber, misogynist, murderer, child abuser and overall very very bad person. Remember what age Aishe was when he............... well you know. He was then in his mid 50's, fact. She was 9, another fact! Mohammad? No thanks, I will not trade Christ for that thanks!

Justice is punishment? Punishment is love? Some justice!!! I would much rather confront a God who can show mercy. The Christian God killed his son for the sins of others. Some justice!!!! Or did God kill himself? William Craig has got a lot of explaining to do.

So the sin and evil that has existed for over 2000 years since the time of Jesus is all forgiven as long as the person believes that Jesus died for their sins. Where is the Justice in that? If Jesus died for our sins? Why is there still sin in the world?

Yes so basically this was god’s plan from the beginning in other words he planned everything this way to kill his son because the sin still is in this world but not the son. How can the sin enter this world ? Is sin independent from gods will, knowledge? If so he is not a god, if god created the sin then we come to my point, whole plan was to kill the son, in that case how can a Christian god can be just and merciful?🧐🤯

It seems William Lane Craig is conflating justice and punishment ("A system of reward or punishment"). "Justice" is also defined as "Upholding what is fair, decent, and right; dispersing what is right." We can say the judicial system is unjust without contradiction.

If mercy is unjust what the point of "Judge" then. The contradict is to much William Craig, does this mean Every pastor seen those who work as Judge as unjust. Justice is require to show mercy, either way both require each other to function. If both were not present at the same time there will be unjust and mercy will be none. It would be different story if William Craig see justice is all about punishment(kill them and etc) without any forgiveness(after they compensate or repent for their wrong deed).

Original sin doctrine explains Christian God is Just, really? Doctrine of salvation also contradicts your twisting words? Based on this doctrine, you need to hurt yourself if someone wrongs you and seek forgiveness... What a joke? Jesus created his mom and then begets himself through his own creation, and then kills himself for the wrongs done against himself. Christians need to be reprogrammed because this shows they have lost the ability to think rationally,

The penalty for sin is death. Sacrifices existed thousands of years before Christ, as a shadow of what was to come. Pursue the truth. It’s not about winning a debate. It’s about our soul. If Christianity is true, it’s very important that you believe it. The Quran and Mohamed came out of nowhere in the year 600 or 700 reaching things that did not match the character of God as written in the old and New Testament. Why believe a guy that wasn’t prophesied about. ? Why replace hundreds of prophecies foretold hundreds of years before Jesus was born, and His sacrifice, his historical documentation, for something that popped up out of nowhere, over 100 years after the author was death, nobody can verify what he said and distorted what’s historically undeniable. Just please think about that and research. Be willing to see Islam with same skeptical eye as you see Christianity. Research. For yourself.

How situationally ironic is Mr. Williams’ unjust understanding of Quranic Justice. Even his tone is mocking and bitter towards Allah, while heightening Paul, rather than Jesus himself, on whom be peace. Sura The Bee: “Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and he forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He Instructs you, that you may receive admonition.” Alhumdullilah. Sura 16:90 “Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him Allah gives a new Life, a life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.” Sura 16:97 “Sura 17: “Make not your hard tied like a miser’s to your neck..your Lord provides sustenance…Do not kill your children for fear of want..We shall provide sustenance..nor come near to adultery: for it is a shameful deed and an evil, opening the road to other evils; Nor take life-which Allah has made SACRED-except for just cause…come not nigh to the orphan’s property except to IMPROVE it..Give FULL measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight..do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge…Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for you cannot rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height.” Sura the Israelites, 17:29-37. (Mindfulness teaching). Sura the Narration: (Those worshipers coming from previous Revelations? “Twice will they be given their reward, for they have persevered, and they avert Evil with Good, and they spend in Charity out of what we have given them.//And when they hear vain talk, they turn away therefrom and say: “To us our deeds, and to you, yours; Peace be on you.” (Sura 28:54). Islam, as Dr. Ally explains beautifully, does not prejudge or condemn other fellow religious people from possibly having salvation-other faiths automatically condemn Muslims and Islam: “There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths.” Sura 72:11. Sura Balad: free slaves …and another Sura

"Parents punish their children" Sooo then why is child abuse illegal? If a child does nothing wrong and a parent is punishing them and beating them, then the parent(s) get arrested or at least in a lot of trouble because they had no reason to punish the child. So the most just God punished His innocent sinless son? Okay yeah, that makes so much sense -_-

AllAboutDhikr Islamic version of sin and reward is very weird. God basically plays with his creation like a Mario game boy to able to get his happiness. There are “virtuous hadiths” which say if you do such and such things , you’ll get this percent of rewards or even be minus if you do a specific bad thing. All give you to examples, the first one is a hadith which says if you say ,”oh god save me from the fire if hell” seven times after every prayer, nothing will stop you to go to heaven. Now if you look at this critically, are you trying to tell me if a person who kills, rape , steals, ruined people’s lives by business fraud, bullies , recites this phrase 7 times after every prayer, god is going to take straight to paradise and all the things he did in this world is all forgetten by him? 2 nd example, rom Abu Hurayrah, who said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah say, ‘ Verily, the first to be judged on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who had died as a martyr. He will be brought forward. Allah will remind him of the favours He had bestowed upon him and the man will acknowledge them. Then He will ask him: `What did you do to express gratitude for it?’ The man will reply: `I fought for Your Cause till I was martyred.’ Allah will say: `You have lied. You fought so that people might call you courageous; and they have done so.’ Command will then be issued about him and he will be dragged on his face and thrown into Hell. Next a man who had acquired and imparted knowledge and read the Qur’an will be brought forward, Allah will remind him of the favours He had bestowed upon him and the man will acknowledge them. Then He will ask him: `What did you do to express gratitude for it?’ The man will reply: `I acquired knowledge and taught it, and read the Qur’an for Your sake.’ Allah will say to him: `You have lied. You acquired knowledge so that people might call you a learned (man), and you read the Qur’an so that they might call you a reciter, and they have done so.’ Command will then be issued about him, and he will be dragged on his face and thrown into Hell. Next a man whom Allah had made affluent and to whom Allah had given plenty of wealth, will be brought forward, Allah will remind him of the favours He had bestowed upon him and the man will acknowledge them. He will ask him: `What did you do to express gratitude for it?’ The man will reply: `I did not neglect any of the ways You liked wealth to be spend liberally for Your sake’. Allah will say to him: `You have lied. You did it so that people might call you generous, and they have done so.’ Command will then be issued about him and he will be dragged on his face and thrown into Hell.”So wow god cares about intentions so much that he forgot about all the things these 3 people have done to make other people lives more positively happier and satisfying. This is stingyness , so all of that work is garbage and they will be thrown in hell because god is making a big deal of their intentions hmmm.

AllAboutDhikr another example I can give, There was a man who had heartlessly murdered ninety-nine people. Then, he felt remorse. He went to a learned man and told him about his past, explaining that he wished to repent, reform, and become a better person. "I wonder if Allah will pardon me?" he asked. For all his learning, the scholar was a man who had not been able to digest what he had learned. "You will not be pardoned;' he said. "Then I may as well kill you, too," said the other. And kill him he did. He then found another worthy individual and told him that he had killed a hundred people. "I wonder," he said, "whether Allah will pardon me if I repent?" Being a truly wise man, he replied, "Of course you will be pardoned; repent at once. I have just one piece of advice for you: avoid the company of wicked people and mix with good people, for bad company leads one into sin:" The man expressed repentance and regret, weeping as he sincerely implored his Lord to pardon him. Then, turning his back on bad company, he set off to find a neighborhood where righteous people lived. On the way, his appointed hour arrived, and he died. The angels of punishment and of mercy both came to take away his soul. The angels of punishment said that as a sinful person he rightfully belonged to them, but the angels of mercy also claimed him, saying, "He repented and had resolved to become a good man. He was on his way to a place where righteous people live, but his appointed hour had come." A great debate ensued, and Gabriel was sent as an arbitrator to settle this affair. After hearing both sides he gave this verdict: "Measure the ground. If the spot where he died is closer to the good people, then he belongs to the angels of mercy, but if it is nearer to the wicked people, he will be given to the angels of punishment." They measured the ground. Because the man had just set out, he was still closer to the wicked. But because he was sincere in his repentance, the Lord moved the spot where he lay and brought it to just outside the city of the good people. That penitent servant was handed over to the angels of merry. Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 676. Doesn’t this sound to you injustice based on the previous hadiths I quoted? The guy kills 99 people and he was close to the good people’s side and he is saved from hell . Who will pay for those 99 people he murdered . God works in mysterious ways . Lol

Why don't you try reading the story in its actual context instead of cherry picking ONE verse to support your own, obviously biased rhetoric and falsehood... He was not calling the woman a dog, He was using that sentence as a metaphor to describe that since His ministry was (at the time) for Israel and Israel alone, he would be straying away from His initial mission to get the Jews to realize He is their true Messiah. Here are the rest of the verses: 23But Jesus did not answer a word. So His disciples came and urged Him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” 24He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. 26But Jesus replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” 27“Yes, Lord,” she said, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” 28“O woman,” Jesus answered, “your faith is great! Let it be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Mercy is a quality loved by God. God is perfect; hence the mercy of God is also perfect. The natural instinct of man tends to be merciful. True bliss and harmony can only be achieved when the heart is filled with correct faith, a body that performs good deeds and a soul which overflows with love, kindness and mercy.........The mercy and love of God is far beyond the need that the blood of innocence, or the blood of Muhammed, Jesus or Abraham (peace be upon them) should be shed for the salvation of anyone. God loves to pardon and none can question him. A mother always judges her infant child to be innocent. God's mercy exceeds the mercy of a mother, God loves his creation. "We (Allah) have created mankind, and are aware of what he whispers to his inner self, and we (Allah) are more closer to him than his jugular vein" (Quraan sura qaaf verse 16)....................... In Hosea 6:6 we read: FOR IN LOVING KINDNESS I (GOD) HAVE TAKEN DELIGHT AND NOT IN SACRIFICE................... CHRISTIAN / BIBILICAL VIEW ON MERCY Exodus 33:19 And he said, I will make my goodness pass before thee and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee, and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. Psalms 51 :1 Have mercy upon me, O God , according to thy loving-kindness, according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions....................................Chronicles 1 21:13 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait, let me now fall into the hand of the Lord - for very great are his mercies. Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee : Bind them upon thy neck : write them upon the table of thine heart . Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Luke 6 :36 Be ye merciful, as your father also is merciful . ................................ James 5:15 and if he had committed sins, it will be forgiven. Deuteronomy 4:31 For Jehova your God is a merciful God. He will not desert you or bring you to ruin . Psalms 94:14 For Jehovah will not forsake his people...... Question - Was Jesus deserted and ruined on the Cross? According to present day Bible, Jesus is reported as saying "My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46) ............................ DO YOU MEAN GOD CRY IN MATTHEW 27:46 ;) God does not demand sacrifice but mercy and supreme kindness. ....

As a student of programming, what I see Conditional Mercy of Allah as absolutely logical, just and applicable to all humans all times. Come to me, and I forgive, JUST come to me, to my prophet, a very simple bargain. God in Christanity says: I'll use You, Jesus, as a escape goat for a sacrifice to show my mercy, just and forgiveness ONLY to those who will accept 'such sacrifice' (may be sighted not to accept God in first place).

If you want justice for yourself, then you should think about all the people you have sinned against. They may want “justice” too. We want Mercy on the day of Reckoning. Mercy is ONE of the BIGGEST features of the Quran. Every Surah opens with it (except Surah 9). Even the Bible itself says “GOD WILL HAVE MERCY AND NOT A SACRIFICE, and the Knowledge of God...” (Bible). We Muslims will pray for God’s Mercy because APPARENTLY the Creator has INSCRIBED the rule of Mercy in the Bible and Quran.

Unless what God has been saying in the Old Testament. There were animal sacrifices foreshadowing what was to come. Penalty for sin is death. This is not a strange concept. Jesus gave his life voluntarily. He stepped off his throne and became a man and dwelt among us. If that’s too big to believe with our limited brain, it’s our problem. But He has been speaking to us for thousands of Years. Why replace all that historical documentation and fulfilled prophecies for a book and a man that came out of nowhere in the year 600-700 distorting the character of God and presenting that God is a trickster who deceived the world by making us believe Jesus didn’t die but was someone that looked like him? Is that really Godlike? I love God and he’s a liar because I believe His son died for me ?

I am astounded to hear advocates speak of the nature of God (all praise to Him) in absolutes and then complain that God does not meet Their criteria for Justice. IIRC we Humans are unable to know the totality of action and consequence. So where does this person find the arrogance to question the Will of God?

The biggest gap in Christian theosophy is the self-induced concept of "ever loving God, a God who ONLY loves humans and forgives". Notice there's no room for discussion in this on accountability of actions, submission to a rule of law. Whereas, plenty room for nihilism, error, mistake and injustice, all in the name of "forgiven no matter what by the loving ONLY God". That's exactly what has tainted many in previous centuries who conducted atrocities in the name of "penance".

William said Hebrews was written by a Jewish Christian🤔🤔🤔 A (Jewish) (Christian) how does that work? Paul wrote Hebrews, Paul also wrote Romans, Timothy, Corinthians and many others.. Romans 2:16 "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL!" 2 Timothy 2:8 "Remember that Jesus Christ is the seed of David, & he was raised from the dead ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL!" 2 Corinthians 12:16 "But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, THE DEVIOUS PERSON THAT I AM, I TOOK YOU IN BY DECEPTION!"

Paul was an eye witness of the resurrected Christ. Went from killing Christians to becoming an apostle of THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM. Died because He believed what he preached was the truth. Nobody dies for a lie. As a Muslim you have to deny the reality of the death and resurrection of the historical Jesus of Nazareth. But believing the Quran that came out of nowhere to distort what had been consistent belief for thousands of years written about the objective revelation of the law and the prophets, the New Testament, and you have to believe a prophet that also came out of nowhere …. Hmmm. With all due respect and love for your soul, research Islam with same critical eye as you are now seeing Christianity.

According to the self-registered Christian accounts, Christ was historically dragged to the site of crucifixion all while abused. There was no willingness on his part, not that he had a choice against Pontifus Pilot anyways. This argument doesn't hold true in spirituality either, since supposedly Christ was physically mutilated.

The God of Christianity has no authority also. The difference is his character is absolutely righteous thereby unwilling to let any sin go unpunished.

Hebrews 3:3-4 For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses-as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)

None of them could have been a Son with a capital S, the Son is not a created being like we are but one of the three persons who make up the One True God. Isaiah 53:5-6 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

the explanation of Dr Craig is crystal clear. it is the reader of the bible that can make it more understandable while quran says violence is one of their teachings which make it more diffudult for them to be saved.

more like clouded crystal... Justice and Mercy require to exist at the same time. If not then the word of Justice is meaningless as mercy is require to judge a person sins(Wrong deeds). The problem is Craig William stated that Justice and Mercy cannot exist at the same time which is weird in my opinion.

@ubergenie6041

How is Ally a professor? He says, "If God treats people according to their actions he therefore doesn't love all people." His statement is a non sequitur. God's judgement is on all.Isaiah 53 is a perfect description of Jesus' coming to die in our place. Vs 11 say "by his knowledge my (God's) righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Isaiah 64:6 says, "All of us have become like one who is unclean, all of our righteous acts are like filthy rags." These were the rags women used during their period. When we offer our good works before God although they look marvelous in our eyes they are discussing in his eyes. Point is sin is something that is so horrendous that we need a much more significant solution, on Christianity, than Jews or Muslims realize. Now if Ally had children this concept would be clear to him. I have had to discipline my children for bad behavior. Never the less I didn't stop loving them while I was disciplining them! On Ally view of Love the fact that I treated one child who I disciplined, differently from another who didn't need discipline, means that I don't love the first child! Once again, this statement doesn't follow and is unrelated. Now my opening statement doesn't mean Islam is false in any way, we haven't touched on it's claims. It just means Ally is not much of an apologist for Islam. Fallacious reasoning and rhetorical appeal may work with 18-yr olds in most North American colleges, but once you learn how to weigh arguments based on their merit Ally is sadly under-qualified to represent Islam.

In both Bible and Quran, there's clear and repeated mention of at least three other profits who were held highly esteemed by God on earth: Ibrahim, Moses, and Jacob. And, yet, none had been chosen to be the "son". All three messengers were assigned a much bigger mission, for which they lived a plenty challenged life. Christ on the other hand had a very short duration on earth, didn't endure nearly as much a life full of challenges as much as his predecessors. All could have been "sons".

The most beautiful live story. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and you believe that God raised Him from the death you will be saved! If Christianity is true you have to believe it too. He said he’s the only way to Heaven. Research the historical person of Jesus Christ his death and resurrection are undeniable facts, what’s the truth? Research for yourself, abandon tradition and look at your beliefs with same critical eye as Christianity, and then learn who God truly is.

Jesus had to die on the cross. He lead by example. No matter how much someone wrongs you , we are asked to forgive our offenders. I believe this is why God gave this mission to Jesus. You will die a terrible death, but you must forgive them. This is TRUE love. That is why Jesus is the Son of God. He showed us how we should Love our neighbor, do good to those who hurt you. Be a servant to all, not a Master . For those who want to be first must be the least amount us. Jesus lead by example. Otherwise , a victim could always say, " how can I forgive that horrible thing he did to me. ?" Look at what they did to Jesus.

Sounds not fair. We'll judged the same like nonbeliever. No distinction or preferable group between you (disbeliever) and me (Believer). I do bad deed, It will be counted eventhough I'm a Believer and you do Good deed it'll be counted eventhough you are a nonbeliever. Thats how the judgement day goes on in Islam.

According to Craig and other Christian God is child abuser?? What s blasphemy! God is the creator of all sons and daughters and it doesn’t befits his majesty to have a son. Christian has been lying about son of Mary Jesus for two thousand years and has invented many about him which he did not say while on earth. Son of Mary Jesus is just a prophet, servant and creature of God nothing more.

Jesus gave his life voluntarily. And He defeated death to prove He is God. We can have different opinions about reality, but our opinions won’t change the true. Every single religion denies that Jesus is God. Only Christianity sees Jesus as God. Which means one path is true and the other is not. If Christianity is true, believing in it is the most important thing for your life. So research, seek God with all your soul and all your heart and pray that He will show you the truth about Jesus. This is about discovering the truth, discovering God and not about winning debates.

Also, Mohamed got with a 9-year old ? That was certainly abuse since no child is ever thinking about being married and consummating marriage at that age. He stole the innocence of a child. Seek for historical documentation about your prophet. Who by the way showed up out of nowhere. No prophecies, ever, about him. Why replace what he said with what Jesus truly said and did? Which by the way matches 3,000 years if Holy scriptures

Hypocrite Christian: God of Islam can not be just because he forgives without payment. But our God just kills himself like a lunetic and we call that payment and love. Muslim: Thanks. But keep your idea of Lunetic God to yourself. We don't believe in such a lunetic God. Such a lunetic can never be a God that created heaven and earth.

Matthew 26:51-54 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?”

Allah is the most Just because he use Justice between his creation on the day of judgement. exemple if somebody stole something from you or he harmed you or maybe killed you ... Allah on that day he will use justice between you 2 . so the victime take his full rights from the oppressor and the oppressor get his punishment justly. in the day of Judgement even the unbelievers will take their rights from the believers even they will go to Hell but they will not enter Hell until Allah Judge between them. THIS IS JUSTICE. in Quran says about the Disbelievers when they see Allah Justice they will say i hope i was just Dust. this is why THE MOST JUST is one of his names. another exemple even tho Allah know everything the disbelievers did, he will not just throw them in Hell without giving them their books and order them to read their Bad Deeds and ask them. why you do this and this and that ?! and he will call the witnesses also who wrote their Books ( the 2 Angels or recorded all his work ) since Allah know everything without the need of the books and the Angels who recorde the Deeds. he can just throw you directly to Hell and tell you shut up i know everything and you don't need to argue with me. but since he's the most Juste he will show you why he will punish you and he will bring the witnesses to testify against you if you deny your horrific deeds. but when it come to sins between you and Allah in that case he use Mercy. and Prophet Muhammad PBUH said no one will go to paradise with his good deeds he said even me a prophet of Allah i'll go to Paradise only by Allah's Mercy. the Good deeds they just give you the key of his Mercy Subhanahu Wa Taala. we all know the story of the righteous man who wanted to go enter Paradise with his Deeds because he had mountains of Good deeds. and Allah said to him fair enough then i'll use Justice and Allah put only his eyes sights on the balance and he lost all his Good deeds for his eyes sights that Allah gaves him. we can't thank Allah enough for the blessings he gave us even if we spend all our life prostrating. this is why we Muslims are so scared to lose his Mercy because only with his Mercy we will go to Paradise.

In Judaism and Christianity, the following five claims are made: (1) He who is eternally un-created is God. (2) The eternally un-created is the “Father” of all creations. (3) The Father of all creations did not create Himself. (4) The Father of all creations did not create His Word. (5) The Father of all creations did not create His Spirit. * Therefore; there are three who are eternally un-created: (1) God, (2) Word of God, and (3) Spirit of God. But God is different from His Word; and God is also different from His Spirit. In order to maintain and to remain true to the formula of monotheism, Judaism and Christianity also hold true to the following claim: “The three who are eternally un-created (God, His Word, and His Spirit) are also eternally joined together as one and the same God.” This claim is known in Christianity as the “Trinity” - The Blessed Three-in-One: (1) The Father, (2) The Word of the Father, and (3) The Spirit of the Father. * Islam sees it differently. Islam accuses Judaism and Christianity of “Shirk” - the un-forgivable sin of joining partners such as the joining of “God’s Word” to God, and the joining of “God’s Spirit” to God. Thus, Islam introduced the “Tawhid” - the “Oneness of Allah” which eternally separates partnerships from Allah - partnerships such as the joining of Allah to his words, and the joining of Allah to his spirit. * Both the Bible and the Quran speak about Baal - the three-foot stone god (idol) of the Canaanites. Baal had words which his worshippers obeyed. Baal’s words demanded infant sacrifices. But Baal could not speak his own words; because Baal’s words are eternally separated from Baal. So, too, are the powers of Baal. Baal could not exercise his powers, because they (Baal’s powers) are eternally separated from Baal. * There are many similarities between Allah and Baal. Both Allah and Baal are each “one and only” in the sense that there are no other gods known to mankind or in existence who bear the name “Allah” or “Baal”; and neither one of them (Allah or Baal) “begets”, nor is “begotten” - because a stone (or a moon) which is lifeless and un-spirited cannot beget, nor can be begotten. Not only are both Allah and Baal’s words and spirits eternally separated from them, but there are no miracles (signs and wonders) recorded in their names. When challenged by the Hebrew Prophet, Elijah, at Mount Carmel, Baal could not perform miracles for his 400 prophets. [See Bible: 1st Kings 18:20-40.] Allah did not accompany (escort) his prophet, Muhammed, with miracles. Interestingly, when a god is eternally separated from his words and from his powers, he is both dumb (speechless) and impotent (powerless) even though his worshippers may (or may not) attribute to him words and powers. * By accusing Jews and Christians of “Shirk” - the joining of God to His Word and God to His Spirit as one and the same God, Muslims have risen up Baal, the speechless and powerless stone idol of the Canaanites, from extinction and have given him a new name - the name “Allah”.

To say, “There is nothing like unto God,” does not mean God and His creation have nothing in common. God exists, creation exists. Existence is something God and His creation have in common. God is knowledgeable; and He is aware of His surroundings. You are knowledgeable; and you are aware of your surroundings. To say, “There is nothing like unto God,” does not mean God and His creation have nothing in common.
