i know it is not fair to new team, especially since quite a few from the - old - team are still there. but i like THIS - Time Team - better than the new one. and not connected to the episodes, but how can one build such a rabbit warren and how can people LIVE at such a housing - estate - ? horrible...

I think we will get to love the new time team more, when there will be more episodes. We can't really see their relationships yet, and everything feels really "experimental" - they're trying a new format, they have a lot of new people.

The stone in the abandoned buildings get taken by people who use them to build other buildings. When the stone is taken down to the ground earth slowly builds up on top of the remains thus the remains over time get buried. Good question.

@@laserbeam002 makes sense that people strip the buildings. But towns im not sure. That means they strip down to the bear bones.

Well, they get very interesting information about the archaeology in their gardens, for free!... (And the damage to the gardens will be restored afterwards, also for free)
