Ac origins was my favorite of all the newer assassins creeds the setting the bosses there really isn’t a bunch of games set in Egypt it still is a unique game with its setting it’s definitely a hidden gem I replayed this game a million times and loved finding little secrets the game has

I am playing the game right now but I have had the game for 5 years and I'm really only playing it now. I never really gave it a chance at the start but I am enjoying it and taking it in as I go along.. I think stopping you playing the story to do other stuff is for you to explore or you wouldn't really do the side quests..

My opinion on the game, is the story was absolutely amazing had me engaged from start to finish, going for the platnium is a complete different story lol alot to do but its such a grind i liked how they did it with odyssey the grind in odyssey wasnt too bad

AC Origins is one of the best from ratings and fan feed back it revived the series. and is definitely my top 3. clearly from your take your a minority. compared to how other feel. 95% of player love the game. it actually feels like a assassins creed game unlike odyssey and Valhalla that really felt nothing like and AC game. plus the game has end game content Gods to fight for special gear weakly, and the game has good DLC. Its really worth full price if you haven't played the game.

If you haven't tried AC: Rogue, you should. It was my first AC game and I loved it. Probably has one of the best naval combat systems in the game since like 3/4 of the game, you're on your ship fighting frigates, man o wars, etc

You’ve done a lot of games like this, wondering on a scale of things you didn’t like as much where does this rank? Not as bad as Jedi Survivor? Skill tree better or worse than Horizon? Was the story more disappointing than cyberpunk?

Oh that's a bit tricky, but I like the uniqueness of this question. So as far as the games you've given me to work with it goes something like this... It's definitely not as bad as Jedi Survivor as I did finish this game. The skill tree is honestly one of the better ones I've seen, better than Horizon Zero Dawn, as it's really good all-around. For the story, I wouldn't say it's as disappointing as Cyberpunk, either. As for me atleast...Cyberpunk had a good opening act; than takes a hard dip from there on the times I've attempted it (spoiler related or I'd give more details). Where I didn't manage to make it very far into the story. But honestly, I've heard ALOT, ALOT of work has been done on Cyberpunk within the last few years since my last attempt on playing it. Plus, I've had quite a bit of content creator friends tell me how amazing their experiences were. Which makes me consider... possibly giving it a final attempt in the near future....just "maybe".

The gripe about the story being stopped by level walls is somewhat about the way you play the game. It’s been about 7 hours since I was dropped into the open world and I’m level 13, still not in Alexandria. If you play a certain way, it isn’t an issue.

Have you played AC2, brotherhood & revelations?? No super powers other than the ability be able to hold the full weight on your body and armor while seamlessly climbing walls and diving 30 to 60 meters in a cart full of hay and going immediately undetected. Completely ruins the credibility of the game.

I made the mistake of playing Odyssey before Origins. Origins felt like a big step back and I quit after a few hours in.

Ac origins ranks the best among the RPG ACs out there… the suspense, the bosses were amazing. The ending was rushed though Ac odyssey and worse ac Valhalla had got to be the most uninspired world creations in any RPG games I played

I think I liked Odyssey better because I’m more of a fan of Greek Mythology over Egyptian. But everyone has their own tastes.

The sidequests are all masterfully woven into the main quest - they're part of the worldbuilding and storytelling. This game is a masterpiece

I just finished Origins. It is a solid game. Got my money's worth (paid ~$8), but I did not enjoy the story, especially towards the end.

Yes AC origins is worth playing again with new game plus if you already beat the story once. This game is insanely good

Honestly, You are one of a very few people to rank origins as 3rd in the RPG triology, most of the ppl either rank it 1st or 2nd to Odyssey, but making it 3rd is damn lame, maybe cuz you played it way later so it feels a lil bit outdated, but imo, its the best out of the 3 when it comes to the world settings, they made Ancient Egypt so damn good, my personal ranking is Origins then Odyssey and Valhalla 3rd, but at the end, its a matter of taste and its your opinion.

Yep, everyone has their own opinion. I know a lot of people that dislike Valhalla strongly, but I like Viking stuff a lot so that’s an example of why I liked it so much. I’m not the biggest ancient Egypt fan so it wasn’t so easy to get immersed into as the other 2 games.

@@MrHoodieJones Yea I get you, btw I liked Valhalla too, ranking it 3rd doesn't mean I didnt like it. its was good, the only issue is that the map was very big and beautiul yea but it was bloated with copy paste type of side quests and activities to the point that made it dull and boring to keep doing them, and felt like the devs wanted to overcome the big map issue by filling/bloating it with too many unnecessary and uninteresting activities!

Great video good information my only suggestion is to lower down the amount of memes and edits you put. It’s a good addition but I think you put way too many. Like every minute or two sneak in a couple not every 5 seconds. Not hating or anything I’m just trying to help you out. Maybe try it and wish you the best

Did you watch til the very end? I kind of go into what I think makes it worth continuing or not. Really depends what you look for in a game.

@@MrHoodieJones I'm sorry but I'm a bit of a foreigner, I don't know English perfectly, but I understood most of what you said in the clip! I personally like the game, the gameplay captivated me, I have played for 3 hours, but I can't help but think that at some point the story will no longer be ok, and that's why I ask if it's ok to play the game until the end, because I personally like the mechanics of the game even the story, but further on in the story I don't know what will happen!

Gotcha, no worries. The best I can explain it further without giving away spoilers is that, overall it is a decent story. I personally ( I can't speak for everyone) didn't like how it ended however. It left me with a sour taste afterwards. IF it ended differently I would probably be more open to going back to Origins in the future. However, if you are enjoying the game. GO FOR IT! It may go differently for you and that's fine. I'm not particularly big on the Egyptian theme and mythology like some are, but everyone is different. I know alot of people didn't care for Valhalla, but part of what kept me playing that was how much I liked the mythology and cultural aspects of Vikings in that game.

I've only played AC3. Just finished Origins story in about 5 days, don't try this .;/ I thought the story was decent with great artwork, except pyramids were dull. Fair Ai battle, crowd Ai fun except the ai boat battle, I didn't like. The animal ai could be better....Like the Target surrounded by tamed crocs. 100s. Out of all the "Target's" I can only remember a couple because it lacked in a big way for a game this size. The arena duel was cool and better than the "Targets" The game map could have been slightly smaller. The upgrade system is a bloby mess but has a couple cool upgrades. *Oh and Origins totally swerved from many folklore stories from that time period in Origins. I can see why, because of story it's not like the movie the mummy whatever. 7.3/10 It be great if they came up with something like Clash of the Titans instead of Valhalla. But they won't, because of copyright. Unless rights usage were obtained.

Honestly most of the recent AC's weren't enjoyable to watch or play. I'd say if you haven't try out Assasin''s Creed Unity and make a video on that IMO the best one of all time.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, everyone has their own experiences. Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy any of the recent ones. I did play Unity way back as I even had the Xbox One edition. Loved it. The story was good and I did enjoy the co-op aspect. I would be curious to see if Ubisoft tries to bring a co-op feature back in the future games.

I didn’t like it. You don’t care about the story if the story is hidden from you. Ok the plot is “you need to kill 5 guys” so…why? It’s not really explained on the first minutes of the game and it keeps not explaining stuff the more you go forward.

I did like Odyssey better than Origins too, but I'm not entirely sure I'd go to say Bayek was the dullest. Bayek had some likeable aspects, but wasn't my favorite from the Mythology trilogy.

I'm currently playing and about 72 hours in with 3 main missions left. I've done the method...1 main, then 5 side-repeat. That has kept me leveled well and not straying from story too long. I will admit, while amazing-it kind be a lil grinding. Once I finish...I will play the hidden ones dlc then curse of pharoahs. While I am loving it-I probably wouldn't play through it again.
