BOOTSHAUS is the ultimate club. The people of KÖLN are extremely friendly but also real ravers who can dance, jump and headbang all night long with no holding back. The club itself welcomes everyone and not just the most shitty looking drug addicts like that counterpart in Berlin, which is not a fair comparison tbh. As long as you behave good you have the best evenings, nights and mornings in your life. They bring DJs from all over the world in to this little club, in comparison to the other Top 5 clubs, so Techno doesn't play all the time, like in almost all other clubs in Germany, but almost every electro genre is being presented by BOOTSHAUS, like Dubstep, Bass House, DnB and many more. They had one of the best sound systems in Europe from Funktion-One but didn't bother to swap it with a new and better one from L-Acoustics, because this club just wants and is perfection. The club has really strong cored communities, like the BLACKLIST community for Dubstep events with a fictional story that is evolving and going on for years and gets covered with mindblowing sets and visualizers, or the Drop That Community with is all in to DnB. BOOTSHAUS is also organizing festivals like the Summer Festival Nibrii or the Blacklist Festival, which is a festival taking place in Oktober in Oberhausen, for true Dubstep and DnB lovers. I was there last year and it didn't take two weeks after I buyed the tickets for 2024, because it blew my mind and I was at a liveset + I got a photo with my most favourite Drumstep artist. If you are dedicated to a certain electro genre and you want a f*ckin sick rave with it, you're next stop is KÖLN.
