In all honesty with how fast 2K games goes on sale on switch it's better to wait for 50% or even 60% off for this game...

Bought this for three reasons: 1. It was $40 on sale 2. It’s a good game and runs fine. 3. Switch 2 is only a year away so it’ll look good asf

One thing worth noting is that this is the ultimate edition - which is still $100 on other platforms. The Switch version is effectively being sold at a 40% discount off sale

I don't know if it was added at a later date but there is an option to lock it to 30fps in the visuals menu under options.

I've only played the game on ps4 and now that I've moved overseas I bought a switch and am thinking of picking this or the collection up. My main gripe with the ps4 version was the laggy menus (sometimes taking an extra second or 2 to load). Are the menus laggy on switch too?

Yeah bought it the moment it was available on the switch. No regrets it’s been fun on the switch. Always looking for a good on the go game and shooter. Loved it on the Xbox and love I can take it on the go even if the low res is a thing it’s not game breaking lol

I really love it on the switch. Yeah the graphics aren't as good but me and my mom only have one tv right now so it's nice to have it on th switch when she's watching something. I have it on my ps4 but I hate hogging the tv.

I personally love Borderlands 3 on my Steam Deck, but this looks incredible on Switch and is only 8.5gb!? My son would love this, will wait for it to inevitably drop in price. I suspect this doesn't have crossplay given the technical limitations.

How are the load times? I haven't played BL3 on PS5, but I remember the load times on the PS4 and Xbox One were awful.

I really wish I could decrease the file size of the PC version to switch levels. I really don't care about graphics much but PC game filesizes are going out of control. I would of grabbed BL3 immediately if it weren't for the fact I have a steamdeck.

I had already planned to get this for Christmas with a gift card I'm getting, and this video has sealed it, I've had a great time playing the other 3 looter shooter bl games on switch so I'm expecting to have anlot of fun. From seeing other things about the game, I'm especially excited for the fustercluck dlc!

I would've been super excited for this port pre-steamdeck. In fact i lapped up all the other border land ports on the switch. But steam deck is now my go to portable system for high-end games. I still game on my switch for its excellent library of exclusives, and due to the switches better battery life and better display its still my go to system for indy titles and retro games.

Yesterday I bought the Borderland ultimate collection for 30 bucks, although I had already bought the Handsome Collection. BL3 seems to be a great game, I especially noticed the fantastic sound design of the weapons. However, I had massive lags in my gameplay even though I'm set to 30 FPS all the time. I'm actually not at all fussy about this, but I found these drops to be extreme and really reduced the enjoyment of the game.

If anyone is reading this between 7/29/24 through 8/15/24 you can get both BL3 for very cheap or the Pandora's Box which includes both Telltales, all 3 mainland games and all DLC for only $30.

In other words, framerate drops are NOTHING new to Borderlands even on clearly superior consoles (even now), so the fact you point out it's CONDITIONAL actually gets my hopes up that may run smoother than past experiences on full blown consoles. Definitely going to purchase, as a new release will need tweaks. On my potato laptop, if I run a game at base it will run like hell and look bad, but once I fine tune everything, it's all smooth and looks beautiful even though no hardware or software has changed. The changes they need to make can quite literally be done by one willing employee in just a few nights to be GENEROUS, as they may have to actually put out the update and bug test to thoroughly test the conditions. The first thing you'll notice is fixed LOD and shadow textures, with that far less framerate drops. Next hotfix will be the fine adjustments that allow for faster texture load times and they may even put out an optional higher quality texture download at some point like they do with many of their games. I have a lot of faith in Epic and 2K, and the fact that they're one of the only companies left who can re-release their products 42 different times and I will never bat an eye or complain, but will just be hopeful whoever gets the games now will still find others online to enjoy it with. So excited to try BL3 now.

Played all the borderlands games (pc) and BL1 and 2 are the only games I've got more than 1000h on in my steam library. However the absolute constant nagging and people shouting at you made me quit BL3 after "just" 70h. I just couldn't take it any more. I am glad it finally made it onto switch at least. It's a great game if you can stand all the annoying characters

I'm not interested I already have 3 different haven't finished none RPGs are just like infinite games I do like borderlands such a good game I do recommend this game to everyone who likes RPGs also the shooter's you won't regret of buying it

I wish they had re-used borderlands 2 textures instead of super low quality BL3 textures. The game just doesn’t look good at all the way it is rn and uncapped frames is just a stupid decision. I’d rather have a game run on 30 fps the whole time instead of having constant dips in frame rate during combat. Hell even Borderlands 1 and 2 run really well on switch and don’t suffer as much in terms of texture quality when compared to the pc versions.

Close to lvl 30 now. It plays good overall. Yes it does dip sub30 in heavy fights. But for a mobile BL3 experience its good enough. Wouldnt buy it for 60 tho. Got a modded switch. Actually don't buy any games 50+. Wait for sales.

I had old gaming PC with R5 3600, RTX 2060 but barely have time to play nowadays.. thats why I play mobile game and handheld while waiting for someone or lunch break...
