Brock Lesnar for the past decade has been dominating Summerslam like no one else, from the matches to the stories to the returns, and everything in between, his fingerprints have been all over the event so it got me thinking, is it safe to call him Mr.Summerslam?

Ohh come on we know Stone Cold is really mister royal rumble, or at least it should go it an actual winner. Would probably give Mr Money in the Bank to Dolph Ziggler or Seth Rollins as no other men did more with it while holding onto it. Brock Lesnar is undeniably one of the greatest freak athletes in sports history and one of the best overall wrestlers to ever step foot in a ring. People who deny his talent are either too young or too blinded by this "boring 3 moves" narrative.

i feel that nobody in wrestling today can match up to the way Brock sells moves. His selling isn't over done and it's the most realistic sells you can get today. One of the reasons why it is so enjoyable to watch him wrestle

I definitely agree with this. All of Lesnar’s matches at SummerSlam are some of the best matches of all time. My favorite being 2013 with him and Punk, absolutely great.👍

I completely agree. Though a number of great superstars always competed at Summerslam, Brock has always been the talk of the summer each time he appeared.

I kinda think that Bret Hart had the best match quality ever in Summerslam history, but Brock has main evented 8 out of his 10 Summerslam appearances, and the ones that he didn’t main event was probably the best match on the card, I would definitely claim him as Mr Summerslam.

Bret Hart is Mr Summerslam. 1989- wins tag title 1991- All time classic with Curt Hennig 1992- Greatest Summerslam main event of all time with Davey Boy Smith 1994 - Classic cage match with Owen 1997- Great main event with Taker.

I wish wwe would kept brock lesnar on his 2012-2014 format. He returns at royal rumble for a pop, gets in a chamber match, amd fued with a top star or mid carder to get them over for a fued at mania and rematch at backlash, then go away for a few months. Then returns a month before summerslam to finish off his fued with his former foe or start a fresh fued with someone else. Then go away again and the returns for hell in a cell & survivor series and then go away again and return at the rumble and do it all over again.

I had posted this on a previous video: I based my statement on the quality of their performance, not whether they won or lost which is predetermined. Like HBK @ Wrestlemania, Bret has a stellar record with regards to quality @ SummerSlam and unlike HBK, Bret has had matches which are considered to be classics in all 3 divisions of the company and for each of their championships. Here are a list of those classic championship matches: Tag-Team Division - Championship Matches SS88 - Hart Foundation vs. Demolition SS89 - Hart Foundation vs. The Brain Busters SS90 - Hart Foundation vs. Demolition. 2/3 Falls Intercontinental Division - Championship Matches SS91 - Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect SS92 - Bret Hart vs. The British Bulldog. Still Largest SS attendance. World Heavyweight Division - Championship Matches SS94 - Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart. Steel Cage & only 5 star SS Match SS97 - Bret Hart vs. Undertaker. Apologies for the long reply, but just giving you my reasoning. Again all matches above were for a title (headlining a division on the card) and were either the match of the night or in contention. A wrestler could have double or triple the amount of matches and even a 100% winning record (Hulk Hogan & Warrior), but it doesn't have any lasting value if the quality isn't there. Thank You,

I would argue that the best match between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle was neither at WrestleMania 19 nor SummerSlam, but was the 60-minute Iron Man match on SmackDown. One of the best TV matches of the Ruthless Aggression Era and an elite showdown between two amazing collegiate wrestlers.
