This power level is based on my opinion and also my calculation, the character present is only from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Characters : Thor and captain marvel

guys are forgetting that, Thor threw Stormbreaker right through a six infinity stone gauntlet. And buried it in Thanos' chest afterwards while after taking one hit from the power stone Carol Danvers never fought Thanos again in Endgame. This is before Thor blasted an entire planet with lightning. In addition to all of this, Thor can live for thousands of years, and his powers just get stronger. If Carol gets stronger, the MCU has no way to explain it, because she was only exposed to an infinity stone once so why should she keep absorbing power. Whereas Thor gets power from Asgard, and controls the Odin Force, which is one of the most powerful energy sources in the Cosmos. And he can practically teleport anywhere in the Universe using the Bifrost. Sure Carol Danvers can travel the speed of light, but I do not believe that compares to the Bifrost.

Well, unfortunately the gap is much higher than what's shown in this video. Carol holds back half the time against her enemies as confirmed in what if. Her feat of flying through hala's star ,which is comparable in size to our sun ,is millions if not billions of times more impressive than thor resisting the heat of nidavellir. That's without considering the fact that she can produce enough power to reignite the whole star. Captain marvel is anime level. We should have realized that when she did not even flinch from thanos headbutt while thor was knocked out by it. She heated up the core to millions of degrees while uru melts at 50000 kelvin. I love thor as a character, but marvel just messed up scaling really badly by making her that op.

Didn't Marvel confirmed that Thor is the strongest Avenger? Like saying in a tweet, showing strongest Avenger cape which Thor was wearing during chain gym in Love and Thunder movie? And also didn't an alternate weak, funny minded, not serious, holding back version of Thor fought equally against an alternate version of Captain Marvel in What If Series? Didn't Thor fought on per with a universal god killer villain like Gorr, Who King of the Gods Zeus feard of and who was killing every gods that coming infront him? (While Gorr doesn't have many on screen feats in that movie. But we should use little brain to understand how powerful the god butcher really is and how he should be. No one was able to stop him until Thor.)

Yes. Thor was more powerful than carol but in the marvels we saw carol regenerated an entire sun from her power. In the infinity war thor was almost died because he couldn't endure the radiation of a star. That makes sense that captain marvel is more powerful than thor. A sun has the power similar to 20000+ stars.

Na, Thor wins. He managed to overpower a blast from all six stones by throwing Stormbreaker at it with his strength, he tanked a neutron star’s energy, even managed to heal after getting the axe, and when Thanos shot the avengers compound, he was still standing, not a scratch. Not to mention, in what if, Thor was drunk and he defeated Carol with not much effort. And not to mention, a neutron star’s energy is more powerful than a sun’s energy. Don’t get started on that “sun” thing in The Marvels, because that sun was dimmed. She had to turn it on to make it hot again. I don’t trust those captain marvel or the marvels writers.
