Was prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was prophesied by other prophets? Yes. From the Prophet Adam til Jesus, peace be upon all of them, every prophet had given the good news of upcoming last prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, to their Nations. Some of them called him Muhammad, some of them called him Ahmed. When he was given the first word of Quran "Iqraa" that means "read", he replied I cannot read.
