I bet a lot of students are not paying because they think it's just a matter of time before all student loans will be forgiven if the Democrats are in power long enough. So deferring payment sounds smart to them. Why pay something you may not have needed to? We really need to move to way more online education. Free online education. It should be structured by universities to vastly lower the cost. Why do 300 students need to assemble in a huge room with a high priced professor speaking the same spiel year after year? Even 1 on 1 tutoring help can be almost all online. Going to school in a public setting is ridiculous for almost all subjects. Plus look at the land these universities occupy? Them and golf courses in cities....both ridiculous. Total waste of space.
