A horror mod with actual lyrics is very rare, and this not only brings that, but also have very bangin' polos. Also the Azarus cameo was very unexpected, but insanely cool. It may not be my favorite colorbox, but a huge one. The two lyrics really go absolutely fire 🔥 Edit: Also cool recursed b1 reference.

I think this leans a little more toward the unknown aspect of darkness. Not eldritch horror or rot, decay, and gore like all those felofluids mods. This feels like "Things that are HIDING in the dark" you don't know whats there... hell you can barely see some of the polos.

Something I really like about the Colorbox series, this one specifically, is the art style. Even if they’re based on the normal polos, the vibe and style of the characters still shows in each installment. I especially like it in this version because you can see small details and stylization on them that aren’t usually on the usual polos. I just think that’s really cool. 🖤

Effect 3 and 4 are both sounds from breakthrough, hell effect 3 is even still in like a weird sci-fi water tank, effect 4 is the clock sound from breakthrough but it doesn’t have the same design And as for the extra guy with the really intense drums he seems to at least be similar to one of the people from Recursed, and the reason it seems like you heard it recently is because of Dale which was from the same series as Recursed

Ok so I said in my comment for grey that it sounded like if colorbox was a movie it'd be the music ti the scene where all the color fades and I didn't know what black would be but I figured it out, black is the scene where the heros return to the ounce colorfully village after making a temporary retreat and they find the place completely colorless and people living technically fine yet noticably dullard boring lifes

I don't think they were going for a full on horror mod But I do think they were trying to stay true to the associations most people have with the color black and it happens to be that most people associate the color with fear death and plague Hence, the horror like atmosphere without fully committing to being a horror mod
