Im glad im finding more people who could appreciate this game even when everyone else hated it! I told my friends how dope this game was but they always just brought up the bugs. Which us fair but cmon, they didnt even finish act 1. I really wanna play it again but I unfortunately dont have internet anymore, so if I bought cyberpunk it would be the launch version.

Picked it up recently since it was on sale and been playing on the PS5. The game is fantastic! The world is spectacular to see and the story has been soo good. The side quests have been quality, feel like main quests. Even the mini quests to make money and grind have been decent and quite unique feeling just because the environment has been that diverse. Sneaking into warehouses or busting up clubs gun blazing. So far I can say I had maybe 2 minor bugs with 30 hours of gameplay?

Cyberpunk 2077 made me realize a good game doesnt need to be all happy ending. It can also be Sad and Touching and the protagonist be doomed throughout the game.

Considering buying the game since I have decent specifications and I enjoy open world RPGs like Fallout. I'd like to make a stupidly strong gunfighter build since that's usually my go to, the game is apparently 50-100 hours a playthrough or more, and I'm going to play without mods, so I hope a lot of the bugs and issues have been resolved at this point, and it's not a let down.

just got done with the Streetkid playthrough now time to start again as Nomad 🔥 Glad they fixed & patched it so I could replay it. I preorder back in December 2020 & never got a chance to play it cause of late gen console issues. Bought it again for next-gen on Sale then have been playing it ever since

When the game first came out I played through the prologue(like 8hrs) then dropped it from boredom, as the talking and cutscenes felt kinda excessive like you were playing a movie rather than game. Came back to play it during the Edge Runner hype phase and started a new game, but this time I decided to do the side quests and gigs before finishing the prologue and boy did the game feel much more enjoyable. My recommendation for new players is to do some side quests and gigs if you feel winded from a story mission. The gigs give a lot of exp and money, making the leveling progression feel very rewarding to do and each location is unique feeling handcrafted, at the end of a fixer's gig chain questline you'll be awarded an unique weapon or car to use. After finishing that playthrough doing all the main quests, side quests, and gigs it was like 70ish hours of playtime. Very fun game everything considered.

Ive always seen it as a gem. At first it was glitched af but the world and the feeling was actually deeply disturbing in a good way. The hopelessness, the loss of humanity, what is life/death. It rlly is a deep game

My take is if the bugs are funny in a way similar to fallout 4 then I’m chill with them

Absolutely, its one of the best games i have ever seen. I am very fan of mass effect but cyberpunk shocked me. It has everything, shooter, good story, characters, emotions, driver…….i give it 9 of 10. Fantastic game.

I've watched edgerunner more than 18 times, but cyberpunk is a goodcto play. It's just that after you finished the game, there was not a lot to do after but its fun

I got the game day 1 on PC. I thought my hype alone would kill it but the stuff I worried about didn't occur. I thought the writing would be bad and Johnny would be too annoying, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. I was blissfully unaware of the last gen console issues for days and was surprised to hear it. However, while I like the endings, the game felt flat after completing all the side gigs and things felt.... incomplete. I felt like I was lenient and understanding about the launch issues even if some were pretty bad even on PC but the next gen patch fixed a hell of a lot of my gripes. What they are showing for just the 2.0 patch seems incredible. I'm glad they were able to save it over time, but if it feels like a more complete experience I'll be thrilled. Better late than never. Honestly, even with the problems it's one of my top 5 games of all time because it's just my kind of game.

I used to play this game so much before the anime.

I played it the second it came out and yes there were some glitches but i only died once to a bug and was able to complete every single quest in the game except for one side quest that got patched a few weeks later. Tbf i did play on PC with a 2080-ti which helped A LOT.

It's worth it. I waited until 4 weeks ago to play this game and I was suprised of how good it is. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. And I get bored with games pretty easily. I think I'll be playing this one for awhile.

i played through the whole game and at the end i only remember 2 character panam and johnny, the main story are so poorly execute to the point i don't even know why people sad about jackie dead, it a NPC you talk with for like ahour and go through some 6months montage with. but i got to give credit to combat it's really good.

BIG ups to CDPR for continuing to work on this game despite it's rocky launch. I have to say I bought this game, tragically, on the PS4 back when it first came out and it was a nightmare. Ended up taking it back for a refund. It left such a bad taste in my mouth and it was the first time I truly felt burnt by a major AAA company. Fast forward to 2023, they are one of the few AAA companies who took the criticism and actually made good on it. I ended up buying the Ultimate Edition on sale and I am finally playing it. It is actually an enjoyable experience now.

I feel like at one point this game was the greatest game that ever existed but then for some reason they cut a shit load of Content and made it to where you can’t even edit your characters after the start…like can’t change your hair your car color or a slew of other factors that are less basic then changing the clothes on the player… so why could I chose my players genitals(joystick) size but couldn’t change my hair color or car color? story was meh combat was great when it worked. The police system is broke in the boss fights sucked.

Guess you play on a PC. As for this New Amazing DLC, I haven't seen any game play of this DLC on PS5 or XboxSX yet. As for the base game , even now on XboxSX and PS5 there are still bugs. 1 example is in Panams story line, where Panam basically drives her bike through V knocking V flying or Panams amazing Sniper Rifle that fits Perfectly through Panams stomach . I could list more, but most will not care about the state the game is actually still in on The New Gen Consoles , much the same I don't care about Content Creators Hyping a DLC when NO one has actually seen it run on the Now Gen consoles.
