Have they made any statements regarding if you buy the game direct from them and in future if the resume Steam sales that we can use our existing account in Steam? I know those silly steam achievments don't mean anything but I still like to work on them, it gives me something additional to do in my games that I enjoy.

The answer is: yes. The game and the dev team alone are reason to buy it. It's an amazing game, if you ever wanted PvP dnd/Skyrim, this is it. Buy. The. Game.

im really on the fence about this game bc i played the last two betas and had a lot of fun but everyone is telling me that the game sucks now and its unbalanced and economy sucks and all that

Right now they’re working through a lot of balancing and economy changes to figure out what works, I think they’re going about it the right way, but the game isn’t in the best state right now

No, it shouldn't be bought. The game is unbalanced, it has a rank system that doesn't work, the matchmaking makes no sense and you find yourself against players who are definitely from a league far too high compared to the one you've just started. The high rollers? The only mode to have better things and it's full of players already perfectly equipped for extreme pvp while you who have just entered are cannon fodder. Furthermore, the game does NOT tell you anything. You have to look for any guidance and advice online. Play a free game and then you can even leave the game, after the first game you have seen everything.

Quests are a work in progress at the moment, I'm kinda in the same boat as you where I really care about the quests, they're the main reason I stuck with Tarkov for so long. Hopefully they add those in soon, I would play this game ALOT more if they were implemented

Dont buy it. Its getting worse and worse. Its bleeding players and you risk buying a game that cant fill lobbies. We already lost map selection.

I regret buying this game.... it feels soooo fucking slow and undynamic with the most stupid fighting mechanics i have ever seen. There is no way to parry or block with any blade... no running etc. Garbage.

i paid 50. And i regret giving them any support with how much they have ignored their playerbase and actively gone against our wishes. I mean, at a time where ranger was the most requested class to recieve a nerf, they went and buffed them. Imagine that. Also they took away map select, despite everyone in the discord which they used to listen to... Everyone on the discord saying "just let us keep map select, we would rather wait a min or 2". But they always know better apparantly.
