Benavidez doesn’t beat Canelo, he lacks experience, discipline, the ring IQ, and lacks the arsenal of skills necessary to fight some one at Canelo’s level. David knows only one thing, get in there and just throw a gang of punches, he can do that to C and D level fighters, (That’s all he has fought) but he won’t be able to do that to an elite fighter. Canelo will have a response for David… Although I still believe David is just lookin’ for the PAYDAY!!

Beat Benavidez and Canelo's critics will immediately turn around to say that Benavidez was just an unproven nobody. None of these guys want to take any risks before fighting Canelo, so besides the World Titles (which Benavidez dropped by himself, twice) Canelo has little to gain by choosing any one opponent over another

That being said Canelo beats him due to having better movement (not the greatest) but better than David, David fights flat doesn’t move his head off the line much so Canelo would connect a lot.
