My ddj 200 worked w android but was bad w latency, just waiting on better updates ect . I took the kit back for this main reason . But good review to let others know this actually works

Because Android devices are made by different hardware manufacturers, the inconsistency can have varying results with latency. I cannot scratch over 5ms. Here's a demo using djay with an iPad kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b6-eY6h4yrS-ZZs.html

I have an older iPad Pro 12,9" with Lightning connector. Using the Apple USB camera adapter and 12W power adapter and Pioneer DDJ-400 controller this setup works and a fully charged battery gives me a playtime of about 15h which is more than enough. :) But the maximum power still isn't enough to drive everything. Now I would like to connect a USB stick with music files. I bought a crappy camera adapter from Wish with dual USB ports, but the Pioneer controller won't work with this one. Any ideas for a way to connect USB sticks? I also wonder how to connect a HDMI out port for driving screens from Djay. Seems like USB-C out and a minidock is required - buy a new iPad Pro?

Really curious about djay pro. But with my current rig, 2 1210GRs, an Audio6 sound card, Warm2 mixer, and Kontrol X1MK2, won't be compatible. Looks like I'll have to buy a new mixer. :(

I managed to connect it smoothly to the XONE 96 with DVS working perfectly and all... There is ONE SINGLE issue that makes absolutely no sense to me... the Equaliser works only POST-FADER... and I have absolutely no idea why. To be clear, I can change the EQ on any channel but only once the channel is live, there is no way to change the EQ on cue...Any idea?

I’m doing exactly this with iPad and a usb hub. The Dj app can see it connected under midi and all the functions work on the pioneer ddj1000 but the iPad won’t let me select the pioneer as main audio output I only have iPad output as option. Any suggestion on this please ?

Just updating my previous response. I originally thought the buffer auto calibrates, there’s actually now an audio buffer setting which you crank down to 64 samples which is as fast as the tightest settings you can put any DJ software. I'm still waiting on algoriddim to push an update to allow us to use these devices with external speakers. When I connect my iPad to the DDJ-1000, it just reads " No Audio Driver" on the jogwheels and won't allow me to connect to any external speakers, which takes away from using DJ Pro with an iPad in a professional setting.

Unfortunately Android doesnt work for anything like this. If you somehow get an Android device to connect it will be super laggy & a waste of time. The simple truth everyone tip toes around is that you need an IOS device or bust.

This video covers what you generally need to hook up your iOS device to your DJ gear. DVS is just one feature specific to the app you choose and the compatible gear. If you want to use DVS, the app to go with is Algoriddim DJ Pro AI. It can use Serato or rekordbox timecode vinyl, or their Neural Mix Vinyl that includes stem control. You can check their website for compatible mixers with DVS capability, like the DJM-S7.

1. Does it work with rekordbox? No, there is currently no version of rekordbox is a fully functional DJ software. There will be in early 2023, but it will only work with the DDJ-FLX4 at time of introduction. 2. Does it work on the XDJ-RX3? In terms of using it with djay Pro AI on iOS, the compatible platform + hardware is listed on algoriddim's website. Scroll below, and click iOS www.algoriddim.com/hardware#ios

Someone explain to me the advantages of this app over serato and laptop. Laptop has a bigger HD, faster processor and quicker to set up. I also don't have to worry about getting a phone call in the middle of my set! I don't think anyone will dance to my ring tone

This app works on a laptop, iPad, and iPhone; with stems and DVS on every device, including the Neural Mix Vinyl that controls the stems when using DVS.

The mixer has two USB ports for two computers. You can pretty much have an iPad for each deck.

There’s actually a simple explanation for why. Unlike the listed items, the DDJ-1000 is not class-compliant. It requires a driver to use on Mac and Windows. You can’t really install a driver on iOS or Android. The rest of the listed items don’t require a driver.

On the DJM-900NXS2, there are two USB ports on the upper left. You can use either one of them.

@@priyonjoni ANDROID CONSISTENCY? I can't EVER find whatever a tutorial suggests to fix anything EVER! It'll say something like go to settings > select redundant cycling gizmo, then... WAIT! my galaxytab doesn't have that option! (or ANY of the other ones for ANY problem I've tried to solve, and it's even left a hacker scratching his head.) I hate this toy computer!

Plug the turntable into Phono. Press play on the time code record for calibration. And I agree, “this video don’t show nothing”.
