As an Anemo main, I both LOVE and HATE this character lmao I love how she buffs my Wanderer/Xiao's dmg... but I hate that a LOT of her potential is locked behind C6 (and the insanely high ER requirement at C0)... What are your thoughts? Small Edit: i wanna emphasize that in 3 anemo comps (w/ sucrose TTDS or Venti) Faruzan even C0 or especially C2 can be good with Xiao and a worthwhile slot in certain Xiao teams if you have enough energy generation (with her becoming rly insane with Xiao at c6, as mentioned --- like actually xiao + faruzan c6 is INSANE).

She needs Raiden levels of ER. That's a problem. I agree that they put way too much power at c6. They should have spaced it out.

If you currently don't have Faruzan C6, ZyOx's recommendation is correct: You need to focus just on ER to get her Burst up since it's what buffs your Anemo DPS's DMG. Here's a quick tip on how you can build 300% ER on Faruzan: - Weapon: Favonius Warbow (lv90/+61.3% ER) - Artifact set: 2pcs Exile 2pcs Emblem (+40% ER). - Artifact stat: + Flower and Feather: 2pcs Exile + Sands: ER% (Emblem/51.8% ER) + Goblet/Circlet: 1 of 2 is Emblem. So without counting Artifact stat, you already have 100 (base ER) + 61.3 + 40 + 51.8 = 253.1% ER. You will need 46.9% ER from the 4 artifact pieces (not Sands), which is ~11.7% ER (2/3 artifact rolls with 5* artifact or 3/4 rolls with 4*). This is definitely doable and you can potentially get more to find your comfortable ER spot. You can go with the full 4pcs Noblesse/Viridescent but it will be a bit tougher to reach 300% ER, and your support like Bennett may run Noblesse already. Remember that any seconds you don't have Faruzan's Burst back after the 20-second cooldown ends means you are losing DPS. Overall, great video :)

I have her at c6 and yeah, she's much stronger, also I've noticed that her damage is pretty good too, I've seen her burst hit for 40k before which is kinda nutty for a support meant to buff teammates.

I spent two days using faruzan at c5 and I was crying the whole time doing it. After getting her C6 I was so angry when I realised how easy to use she becomes with her last constellation. It shouldn’t be this way

I got her c4 somehow in 50 wishes and built her to 70 and was so unimpressed. Sure she gave a great damage buff but it was actually impossible to play her with xiao who already has his own energy problems. I bit the bullet and pulled till her c6, got wanderer in the process, and my god she became a 5* support immediately. No character should have that much power locked behind one constellation

I love how her ascension stat is atk% which is almost useless on her instead of er%, so fun for all the family!

I wont be surprised if every 4 star released after Faruzan is constellation dependent and clunky (maybe), considering how much harder it is to get 4* than 5* . I'm even surprised it took them this long to do this kind of aggressive monetization, though they did do this for some characters like C1 Hu Tao (which shouldn't have existed in the first place, and was Cleary a "create the problem sell the solution" type of scheme).

I became a Xiao main like from 1 and half year ago. And I was looking forward for a support for him. Finally they added an artifact set that’s really hard to get what you want on him and a support that needs her constellations to be broken. I wished they at least gave her the C1 and 3 energy particles on her skill on the house. That would fix the problem. Also they could at least make The Vermillion Hereafter artifact set less RNG for the exact sets that Xiao needs, I’m literally getting multiple healing bonus circlets everyday. I’m starting to think mihoyo hates Xiao or Xiao mains.

Her C1 made her look like Ganyu imo. Her E skill almost didn't have a downtime, enough for me to use charged atks continuously.

I managed to get her C6 and the difference that one constellation makes is absolutely absurd. No joke C6 adds: - Anemo Crit DMG - Consistent and decent grouping - Anemo battery - 100% uptime on anemo resistance shred (A1 passive synergy) - No need to ever use a charge shot. - Pretty much no need to ever use skill either. So you now just press Burst, swap out and get all the benefits, then you're ready to go again with nearly 100% uptime.

We should not expect change but it important for everyone to be aware that we can leave feedback in game by selecting the feedback option in the Paimon menu.

What can Hoyoverse easily do in this situation? Just decrease her burst energy cost. That'll fix half of her problem.

I see Faruzan as being designed to just make Hoyo more money.... everyone that wanted Wanderer/Scara likely experienced FOMO if they didn't put until they got her to C6. They gated her worth behind a pile of primo's (potentially your hard earned bucks) to just squeeze more money out of her. Smart? Slimy? or a bit of both... you decide. I saw through this more or less immediately and decided to not pull on this banner entirely.

Sucrose build really changed when using an elemental or battery team. Genshin needs to add some kind of class setups to switch between builds asap

that 80 energy cost on her burst is literally the worst nerf on her. Either way, I'm still getting her because of her 5* design.

At C6 4pc tenacity becomes a very viable choice for her since the vortexes deal elemental skill damage so you'll have 100% uptime on the atk% buff while her burst is active.

She’s only bearable with Heizhou with his low energy requirement and decent energy part drop

See me personally I'd change up her C6 constellation: we keep the Crit DMG buff to fall in line with Gorou C6 (at max value) and Sara C6, while the other remaining parts of that existing constellation get transferred to either other parts of her constellations or just flat-out apart of her C0 kit. The real winner for her C6 would be that her burst moves either based on the position of the most recently damaged enemy or it tracks your character's movement while still maintaining that (weird) triangular formation. Both sound good, so I put them there. Thoughts?

By the way, another benefit of c6: you are no longer tied to your ult so hard, because the actual anemo buff part of her ultimate has nahida ultimate radius, so you pretty much have it all the time. And with c6 when you fire skill arrow, it shreds anemo which doesnt stack with ulti, so you dont care if ult hits enemyes.

imagine being early in the game, pulling for Itto or wanderer and you get nothing but these extremely niche supports.

I've got C3 Faruzan and Scaramouche on the first day of their banner, but because I have no self control (and I saved for him for a long time) now I have C6 Faruzan and C2 Scara. And yes, unfortunately the difference with her constellations is very noticeable. I think she's overall comfortable to use (excluding ER issues) even at C0 but C1 and C2 really enhance that comfort. And then of course C6 is like a patch to her whole kit. I use her with my ER cracked Noblesse that gives 136 on its own and, since I have C6, I could switch Fav for Fading Twilight for more dmg (and because my Fav bows are already used by multiple characters and FT was rotting uselessly). Now I have ~260 ER and next Abyss I'm gonna test if it's not an overkill

I personally like this video and find it really really helpful. I especially like the comparison between c2 and c6 in every section, coz let's face it, not everybody can hit c6 immediately. Some might be stuck in c4 or c5 (like me) So it helps to know what max dmg i can deal with her in c2, but also get an idea on "how will this be different in c6?" Thanks man

It took me 150 wishes just to get C2 Faruzan. I'll be like at C3 Scara by the time I manage to get C6.

In all honestly I'm running Xiaoden with Faruzan. I don't have Albedo anyways and Faruzan can hold Elegy + 4p VV for Raiden, plus Raiden actually likes her high burst cost. Not sure how viable this team is but it's fun at least

I do not have an anemo dps, Faruzan was my first anemo character gotten from standard. Now, she's C6, with no dps to support so I use her in my freeze team as a grouper lmao

I got her c6 only because I had been saving for Wanderer and Kokomi and their banners came together. So I got tons of Faruzan copies. This video reallly helps figure out how to build her after c6, thanks!

It seemed like Mihoyo likes creating more and more unusable characters. The only usable 4-star character that seemed usable is Layla for her shield. Collei has dendro application problem. Candice requires a lot of uptimes. Dori needs to move in circles to apply electro. And Faruzan has energy, crowd control & charge shot problem. The only last awesome 4-star character is Kuki. With dendro hyperbloom, she really shines as a 4-star on par with Bennett, Xiangling & Xingxiu. My Kuki at level 77 with 794 EM can deal 17k damage per hyperbloom seed.

My friend challenge me to pull everytime i hear "c6" and "energy recharge" while watching this video, i took it, and now i have c17 faruzan.

one point worth mentioning on the VV set on faruzan. she only swirls with the special effect of her charged shot and with the initial hit of her ult. not with the subsequent explosions. so at anything other than c6 she would swirl really few times. at c6 the effect procced by teammates would swirl constantly making her even better yet lol

I never even noticed the energy problem- I run her in a team with Zhongli who is on Fav and herself also of Fav with 230 ER (emblem, I just assumed I would want her burst as often as possible) so it really just... never occurred to me. Heck I had more problems with Wanderer's recharge than Faruzans. But looking at the stats, it really does makes sense that she's got an energy problem. Huh. Nice to know.

*For F2P and low spenders, the only real option is to not pull for her C6. A C0 copy is arguably okay.* I've been playing since the start of the game, with both WM and BP. While I have gotten many 4 star characters to C6, Fischl, who I've had since the start of the game via the Venti Banner, would still only be C5 via the Gacha system (I only got her to C6 because of the first event with her, and the summer event). For the banners I've pulled on, Venti's first is the only one she was rate up on for me. That means, unless Faruzan (and Sara) are on other banners than their "intended" 5 star OR you plan to go beyond C0 with that particular 5 star, do not count on *ever* seeing her get to C6 on your account. Especially now that the summon pool is more deeply diluted, and MHY shows no signs of changing this method, because it makes a lot of money. You certainly can get lucky: I've had some characters go from c1 or c2 to C6 in 90 pulls. But in 90 pulls I've also pulled literally no copies of a character. One whale spent 80k+ primos for a C6 of Faruzan. If you are not a whale or mega lucky, feel free to ignore her completely. Exception being that you just like her and want to use her (which is absolutely acceptable). But as far as value goes pre-C6, she's not worth a ton of resources since what she does is so meh and very dependent on high stat gear. But that's just my opinion.

What if BROKEN but not actually in a good way (like Xingqiu) but in a way that needs a lot of FIXING? I guess she is one of those characters. And since she is Anemo Gorou, unless you use either Wanderer or Xiao, there is no point in using her...

The only way Hoyo gonna "fix her" is either a Weapon event or Artifact set catered to her

I see a lot of the content creators say that she's good at C0 and that's not true. Yes Sara and Gorou is good at C0 since their base kit works fine with inconvenience but faruzan is an another level. She also need so much investment to be viable unlike Sara or Gorou.

I don't even care about the 40% crit dmg increase. Her main biggest problem is her burst energy cost or her particel generation

c0 faruzan feels like both a head pat and a back hand from hoyoverse

Tbh running 3 anemos would be more bearable if there was a good option for single target: Like, Wanderer/Heizou triple anemo with Venti works really well, but is not the same case against bosses or when you run Xiao, who already has good AOE, the only thing that comes remotely close is Heizou. I wouldn't be mad if they just released an anemo Fischl/Albedo, where you have more than 100% uptime off field, but no AOE, would synergize well with Faruzan to the same degree Albedo and Gorou work well, and also work with units that have lots of field time like Cyno or Xiao.

faruzan is the character that i was really hyped about as an anemo main. had about 130 pulls ready in hopes for c4-c6 after release i got so disappointed not only i barely got her c2 but the gameplay in current abyss had me want to throw my computer out of the window

another thing abt faruzan is that she's actually a pretty good support for heizou!

I only just used Bennett a few months ago and raised him to level 90 + C1, and many people say "don't activate his C6, because that stops reactions from happening". I just got Faruzan today from the Sumeru event, and looks like I'm gonna have to beat up "Light Guiding Tetrahedron" 20 times to get Faruzan to level 90, then do a lot of talent grinding for her and then get an artefact set for her. That's gonna take a while. And I still haven't started using Sucrose yet, and Sucrose is at C3.

I have a C6 Faruzan (and C6 Scara so his damage is higher too but anyways-) but I used her at C0 before I unlocked her cons and the difference in her damage as well as the damage coming out of Scara from the buffing was INSANE. It's a shame that newer 4*'s are becoming increasingly constellation dependent because not everyone has the capability to spend money just to have a usable support and character in general. Definitely a love/hate relationship lol I agree with you there

Im a F2P players except specifically for Wanderer (I got him 😊) and I was so upset I didn't roll a single Faruzan on his banner the ONE time I whaled! (I spent 20 bucks)

The thing about "must c6 character" Is that for some people who might think like "oh the dps is my main, I can wait for the support to get c6 in othet time" but for some other people if not most of the player, we already got bored with the carry character before the support got c6, in my case is my raiden, she's strong and fun to play & I still put het for abyss but damn I'm not gonna have a higher hype even when my sara got c6, it's already wayyy back there And yes my sara still not c6 smh

Emblem Favonius, ER Sands Faruzan...thank me later With another Anemo in the team (which you should) she gets her burst back as long as you proc her skill every now and then, no need for the charged shot. She's at 260 ER% and I find it pretty comfy, anything less than that is going to be a pain unfortunately. I use her with Mono-Anemo plus Bennett, made Sucrose an ADC carry and her buffs are pretty significant I'm gagged.

Kinda stupid how mihoyo at first started making signature weapons for the 5*, but now they do the weapons plus characters that almost need to be C6, like Faruzan or even Gorou. She's probably the worst character in-game.

I had C6 Yanfei before this banner and got like 5-6 more of her and a bunch of Fav Greatswords. Only wound up with C2 Faruzan and I'm done with this banner so I don't accidentally get C1 Wanderer. These goofily C6 weighted 4-stars wouldn't be such an issue if you didn't waste rolls on characters you already maxed (2 to 5 starglitter is hardly adequate compensation).

I usually run C6 Faruzan with Elegy and an Atk sands and have enough ER but maybe I should change it to an ER sands to run less ER and more offensive substats on my other artifacts. My Wanderer currently hast 4x Viridescent because the substats are better than with 2x Atk% sets xD but I’m farming for the new set

Her C6 seems comparable in power level to Xingqui C6. This isn’t new and I expect it to happen occasionally going forward.

The responsible thing would have been for them to spread out those benefits across the Constellations, ofc. But they want money, and so stacking them on C6 is the logical choice if they're trying to get people to commit to more wishes in a single banner. That's sad, but it's also how gatcha mechanics work. One thing for folks to keep in mind is that once a 4 star character's banner has run, they're added to the standard pool and can then be pulled on every subsequent banner and including the standard banner. That is obviously random, but it adds up. For example, I have several C6 4 star characters that I've never pulled on a banner for, because they just keep showing up. Namely Ningguang and Sara, both of which are Level 20 on my account because I have no use for them. Almost all my 4 stars that didn't JUST come out (Dori, Faruzan, Leyla, Candace, Collei, etc.) are high constellation or max cons, and I never wish with them in mind. It's not like the ONLY way to get her cons is to spend big on this banner- between passively getting more cons through chance and the inevitable reruns, patience will pay off for her. Spending now is the only way to get the instant gratification for having her C6 though, which is what people actually want. I get that frustration, but she isn't totally inaccessible just because you don't want to spend big on her right this second, not the way a limited banner 5 star with potential locked behind high constellations would be.

Mihoyo, who does not add difficult content to the game to prevent its players from experiencing anxiety, adds faruzan to the game. I'm stuck at c5 and I'm trying hard not to go crazy, thank you Mihoyo.

Have you tried a 4 pc scholar with sacrificial? For main dps scara w/ jean bennett faruzan sacraficial keeps giving more energy while the set gives you more particles for kills or skills used on hit, and the more energy from the extra skill w/ constellations. Being that they are mostly anemo you get major particles and the restriction of bow/catalyst on the set becomes null due to how much ER is put out from all aforementioned buffs

C0:needs so much er,buff doesn’t last for xiao’s whole ult,good buffs C2:still has er problems ,but buff last xiao’s full ult,buffs are still good C4:energy slightly better,good buffs C6: barely any energy problems because the c6 compliments c4. Incredible buffs for anemo. Totally different character

My faruzan (C2, 253% ER) usually has her burst after one rotation with a team of wanderer, raiden and yelan. Guess it depends who’s on your team as raiden and yelan are both er depending characters

I don't regret pulling for her after already getting wanderer, but I am also pulling for Raiden, so even though my pity went into the banner, if the 4 stars on Raidens banner are better, i'll be sad! I only have her C0 btw. Does anyone have leaks on the 3.3 wave 2 4 stars yet?

First time I've ever been grateful to loose the 50/50 to Qiqi. 😅 I had already saved enough to guarantee Scara, and managed to C6 Faruzan along the way since I ended up rolling so much.

As we go further more & more char's be built around those requirement - either heavy cons depended or support including 4 star

Lost the 50-50 on Scaramouche but got Faruzan upto C6 by the time I got him so that's a win for me! Almost 100k per plunge in overworld on Xiao is nutty and I haven't even built her properly yet to make the most of her kit.
