The most important key is syllabication... English = usually cut after consonants Filipino = usually cut after vowels (because that's how Filipino words are read)

Maybe because of the Filipino language rule: Kung anong bigkas, siya ring baybay. Or in English, The way it is pronounce is also the way it is spelled.

When a filipino is working in a call center. We have to adjust on each client that we entertain. Because each english that use in different countries has this accent that sometimes, you don't understand. So we have to study and learn from people that also use those terms... so that. When we encounter another client that speaks a different kind of english terms.... we can talk to them easy.

In Tagalog/Filipino, we read or speak as we write that's why most of the Filipinos speaks English similar to Alodia (with no American slang). I guess it's same with Nelly because when you speak Bosnian (you read/speak as you write it)👍😀

I'm now in malaysia, and I'm a Filipino.. I experienced insulting me about of my accent because we FILIPINOS we used a American accent and malaysia is follow a British accent so sad ,,,they laughing at me and tell me that I don't really know how to talk english..... It's hurt yes but instead to angry I try to explain to them... about the difference of our accents.. they understand but still laughing..... Last I say is we all must respect because we all is from different, different countries.. As a FILIPINO if there coming to Philippines I don't let people laughing to them about their accents.... As far as best accent, it would depend on the hearer. Since the Philippines has many dialects depending on which region a person is from, each region also has its own accent. Living in California, I have worked with people from every corner of the globe and I don't hold it against someone if their accent is strong as long as understand what they mean even if their English is not perfect. Even with my co-workers from Australia or the UK, they have their own meaning for certain English words.
