I’m glad Ash mentioned Nabnab is Banban backwards. I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet. He’s also the only one to have a party hat, while Banban has 2. I’d think that maybe he was a failed experiment but it wouldn’t make sense for him to be a mascot so it might just be a joke.

The death screen letters are spelled out and have to be organised.The death screen in chap.1 when origanised says “it hurts” and the death screen in chap.3 when organised says “monsters”. The deaths screen lore for chap.2 and 4 are still a work in progress

I just wanna take this time to mention, please everyone be kind to the devs of this game! They recently had to drop off of their social media because their safety and their families safety was being jeopardized. The devs are literally two brothers on a small personal budget. They said this won't hinder their continuation of the game, as they do not want to stop their dream. Every dev needs to start somewhere. Remember to be kind and have fun!

I'm glad Ash noticed that Nabnab is just Banban backwards because I noticed that too my first time around and came up with the theory that Nabnab could potentially be helpful for the character later on. He's already been cast out of the main group and judging by the naming conventions, it could be possible that Banban is to blame for that and everyone else just went along with it since he might be their leader of some kind. We've already seen him manipulate the mother to get what he wants so he's definitely capable of doing the same to the rest of the monsters.

This really made my day. I had a theatre competition that I THOUGHT we did good, but we ended up getting dead last. I wasn’t too happy, and equally frustrated trying to keep my composure around everyone (which shouldn’t have been as hard as it was). Seeing not only Mat, but John AND Tom on the couch playing Garten of BanBan of all things lightened my mood instantly! All the funny moments constantly making me laugh is really what I needed. Thanks to all the boys for making my day, it means the world to me!

Say what you will about the other aspects of the game, one thing I think Garten of BanBan did pretty well was that bizarre "liminal space" kind of feel. I love the long colorful hallway and the eerie windowless play areas, as well as that strange central area with all the apartment windows.

Part 2 here is genuinely not half bad. It is flawed, but the idea is there, I think it's honestly pretty interesting really The execution of Part 1 set it up for failure though, and the initial perception will be tough to overcome

I feel like (if the creators cared to) it would be a good path if the games improve as they're made and once all chapters are released they could go back and polish up previous ones, kinda like BATIM did. I mean this game is definitely a pretty big improvement to the first chapter so I feel it could be a good path for them, I just hope they listen to the constructive criticism people have given.

There's a new party game on steam with twitch integration called King of the Castle. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something viewers can join in on, the host plays the king trying to hold the kingdom together while viewers take the role of bickering noble factions vying for the throne, voting on laws, etc. The game also has a great sense of humor.

Garten of Banban 2 is a good improvement from the first game and actually scared me a little when I played.

BanBan is general is just garbage. They're not going to ever try to be good, their game is specifically trying to capitalize on mascot horror trends on KZfaq. I hope MatPat just stops giving this game attention. It doesn't deserve it other than to show what not to do

i was in tears when mat didn't get the lore for "big boy" in the "kindergarten/doctors area"...like the fresh LORE man 1:07:36 I semi seriously said ""my life" beore the game did lol

I need to say this somewhere so I'll say it here. A reason on why I like this game despite it having limited originality is because the decor on the game from wall drawings, fake trees and such, reminds me of realistic playrooms like those at IKEA or smth
