Hmm...let me revisit this scent. The SA gave me alot of samples, but I've always felt it was designer adjacent especially in the drydown. But you brought up a good point. A good abstract scent is rare nowadays.

Hello there...Welcome! If you are looking on the designer side, please start with something like Prada L'Homme, Versace Pour Homme or Terre d'hermès Eau Givrée/Eau Intense Vetiver, Bleu de Chanel and Armani Acqua di Gio line. Cheers!

When you say that Eau Noire has been discontinued, are you talking about Demachy's reformulation or Kurkdjian's reformulation in 2022?

The relaunched "yellow" Eau Noire by Francis Kurkdjian is also discontinued apparently. It's not even displayed.

Apparently it sells in single digits on a monthly basis. Nonexistent sales in the east according to this senior SA. So they think it's not sustainable.

I liked some from testing.. Oud Radieux notably. But haven't purchased any. I thought they were well made. Difficult to find a place to sample here
