Now that we know that this isn’t limnited to high or top tiers, you could do one for Pit: Is he Mid Tier or High Tier. Personally, I thinks he’s an underrated high tier character.

Hero main here! A few things that weren’t mentioned in the video were that: Metal slash: has higher chance of appearing in selection when next to a metal opponent Zoom: the closer you are to the blast zone the higher chance of it it appearing Kaclang: although you will be invincible using it, it has a 100% consistent time for invincibility and notable end lag after invincibility ends And normal attack made with both oomph and psych up breaks shield, not just back air The move swoosh moves down slightly after casting

Small errors : Woosh is frame 7 Landing Fair doesn't truly combo into grab (at least not as shown) But overall, not a bad video that shows well Hero's strenghs and weaknesses. I'd say he's a low high tier. Not bad but not good enough. He struggles against most top tiers

mid tier : incosistent, bad frame data, laggy air acceleration and one of the worst normal moveset, RNG and lucky depended. (Hero main btw), the only good thing that this character is it menu but still if is not get lucky he´s fucked up.

I'd actually argue that Hero is low tier. Without the spells, Hero would be the 2nd worst character in the game, and with the spells, while he is better, it's still not enough to get him anywhere close to tournament viable as anything other than a random secondary for an unknown matchup, which is quite a bad gimmick.

Hero's regular moves are strong and fun to use.

Swoosh, tier 2 of up special, gives him significantly better horizontal recovery. His best spell is by far zoom, because of the multiplier you get offstage. 50% chance to pull it offstage if primed.

High tier without a doubt. The character is slow sure but he has a ton of moves that can deal some insane damage if not kill at ridiculously low percents. In fact if you are lucky enough to have experienced an oomph, physic up, and a crit all stacked on each other than you don't know what the joys of playing hero are

As a hero main that's in elete smash open list and pres anything when fast characters approach best option ong

ive used hero since his release, and the fact is that he is high tier. having an oos option that fast, negates alot of things that would normally out frame or combo him to hell. all of the frizz line is good, stage 1 for combos, confirms and insanely fast zoning, stage 2 for spacing and perfectly safe damage that can kill. and 3 which has some frame traps it can confirm into. same basically for zap line except zap is actually insanely busted cause its a disjoint and not a projectile. his low percent combo game is actually very good and he has the fastest grab you can have in this game at frame 6. and this is before all the command selection aka kaboom(probly the most broken move in smash lol). he def has the sauce. im not mentioning the crits but those are broken if it works and sad when it doesnt so i dont factor that in because its inconsistant no matter what you do. its a nice bonus though.

I’d say he’s Low, or even Bottom Tier. The majority of his frame data is some of the worst in the game, and unfortunatly has to rely on only his magic in most situations. It’s probably why I suck as a Hero player, cuz I like to use more than just magic

i think hero is the best character in the game every (regular) hero move does 40 percent and now with the hero amiibo every hit he does will kill you at -50 percent

He's definitely high tier. RNG doesn't mean completely uncertain. Hero has some of the most broken options, and just because he doesn't get Magic Burst, Kaboom, Bounce, or some other broken option first try doesn't mean he won't get it eventually with more time, and that time will come when your opponent is in disadvantage. That, combined with his already broken neutral special and side special definitely make him high tier (these can kill SUPER early).

So I play Pokémon, AKA I always see RNG as 50/50s, then mid tier.

Your tier question vids are very inconsistent with your website. Why is that?

As a Hero main, I somewhat disagree he’s a high tier character. I consider it he’s a mid or border line mid tier. His frames are flawed & he is a bit of a heavy weight (the very least) which means he get combo on easier. He may be a scary character to against with including RNG’s. But in the nowadays, he’s that not scary at all for except the bad matchup characters. Hero has 21 spells but 4 of the spells are useless which is Metal Slash, Kaclang, Kamikaze (on the last stock), and Hocus Pocus. Hocus Pocus is not very recommended in competitive or at least you want to gamble, but the bad odds out weight the good odds. For obnoxious spells which is Kaboom, Magic Burst, Thwack, Snooze, & Flame Slash. For most obnoxious move other than spells is Stage 2 Zap attack (Zapple). So yea, Hero is not that very competitive. Here’s some tips to defeat Hero To Edge guard Hero, all of his Woosh moves are a bit easy to 2 frame. But keep sending back out stage to waste his MP. His first stage of Woosh is 5, then 9 for second, & 18 for the last stage. And also Zoom needs 8 MP. Don’t let them hit you on shield too often, it gains more MP. Thwack, Flame Slash, Kacrackle Slash, Magic Burst, Kamikaze, & Bang/Kaboom (only the explosive part) can 2 frame, especially Kacrackle Slash.

I personally think that Hero can not and should not ever be ranked on a traditional tier list. He is too RNG dependent and 1 minute Hero could be the best character in the game. The next minute, Hero could be bottom 5 in the game. With "average" RNG, Hero is upper mid tier or lower high tier. He is too inconsistent to rank so therefore, Hero should not be ranked on a traditional tier list. With how balanced Ultimate is, I think Ultimate should not use a traditional tier list but rather a tier list similar to what the Tekken fan base uses. With one of those types of tier lists (forgot what the specific tier list is called) I think it could be possible to rank Hero somewhat more accurately and properly. Other characters that fit in the "unrankable" category in my opinion are Ice Climbers, Lucario, the Mii's, Hero, and Min Min/Steve. Min Min/Steve should not be ranked until tournaments open up again. We know that Min Min is an absolute goddess online and Steve is likely to also be a god online as well but we won't know their true power/potential offline until tournaments open up again. Ice Climbers/Hero are too inconsistent to be ranked so they should not be ranked until we got more consistent results or we use a different style of tier list. Lucario/the Mii's have almost no results so we don't really know what they can truly do so they shouldn't get ranked until we get more results. Characters like Little Mac and Dr. Mario don't get many results either but it is extremely easy to see why they suck so they don't really qualify on the "unrankable" category the same way that Lucario/the Mii's do in my opinion.

Nothing against the her, but I feel like I'm watching a Watchmojo video. Especially with the Awkward camera at the beginning and the simple "safe-teacher" languge for 80% of the video. It feels like it's trying super hard to be my friend as opposed to Bonk's script style who is just boisterous and loud. He sounds like he's having a good time and is telling me what's what. Imo Bonk's narration is less cringy even though she wasn't cringy at all.

Hero is mid to high. Its based on play styles as well..RNG gods can be shredded if they have bad luck or if you hog your MP and barely use your Down B its high tier if you're good.
