Am I the only one around here who actually loved all the seasons?

I just hope they don't get rid of Hiro. He was, and still is, a freaking beast.

I feel like it should be more about the old cast since people just have barely discover them, I definitely want to see more Claire, Obviously more Sylar/Gabriel, and of course more of Hiro Nakamura. Even though no one cares, I will cry if I don't see them :'(.

Heroes was the first show I actually started to continually watch on a weekly basis. At the age of 13, this was a new thing to me, especially for a primetime show. Words cannot express how much I enjoyed the show, felt connected, or how bummed out I was when it got cancelled. Any amount of time back in the Heroes universe is Godsend.

Am I the only one that liked each and every series from 1 to 4?

Heroes season 1 was incredible. I was so hooked on it. But then the show was like...You know what? You don't want all these powers, you'd rather watch Claire struggle with confusing bisexuality in College...every...episode. And trying to dance around making Sylar a good or bad guy, that was a stupid way at trying to make him a more compelling character. We liked him as a villain, playing with the concept of turning him good only devalued his conviction as a villain and made him a disinteresting flip flop of a character.

The reason why it tanked in later seasons was because of the Union wide screenwriters strike that crippled the film industry just when the show was really getting hot, leading the second season to be highly compromised in a way that the story never fully recovered in subsequent seasons. Critics always seem to forget this major issue!!

I was a big fan of Heroes- but the problems -for me- started on season 1 season finale. The problem was that it felt like a Series finale- instead of a season finale. Mistakes from the writers that limited the storyline potentials:1. They killed off Linderman and Thompson- they shouldn't have. They should have been around for S2 and had them explore recruiting Nathan into their agenda further. 2. They let Sylar catch Claire and get her powers so easily on S2 after the whole "Save the cheerleader, save the world nonsense" from S1. Sylar shouldn't have caught Claire. 3. They killed off Issaac & Symone. Symone's father had abilities. Symone could have developed as a character that had an ability but kept it hidden. 4. They changed Suresh & Ando. They should have kept Suresh as the eager for answers scientist. Not the "mad scientist" he later became. Ando should've been killed. Not because I didn't like the character, but because it would've transformed Hiro into the sword wielding Hiro from the future. 5. They should not have killed off DL- the way they did. He should've been killed by Sylar. 6. They should have kept Nicky- and her alter ego. Not gone with Tracy at all. Micah had great potential for a character also. Quite a bit of problems but i'll end it here...

The episode Five Years Gone remains one of my all time favorites in all of TV history.

I actually really liked that they weren't 'Superhero's' out fighting crime every week and that it was more insular and about their personal stories.

The thing with Heroes is, it strayed away from the whole "ordinary people with extraordinary powers".. I mean by what, mid season 2,EVERYONE was a FRIGGING Hero. That wasn't the original point. I just loved watching Niki discover her powers, or Claire struggling to find herself and jugging being normal yet extraordinary, but by the end of season 3 she just wanted to use her "powers fo rgood" If they can avoid fucking up and not straying away from the original vision for the show, it could be successfull again.

Save the show, Save the World.

Heroes Season 1 - The Best Heroes Season 2 - Good Heroes Season 3 - Interesting Heroes Season 4 - New The two middle seasons really were iffy (my opinion) but I think they started to save it with season 4. I was super bummed that it got cancelled. Ando and Peter were my favorite. I'm so excited for this new series!

I dont get it, I think all seasons were good. I mean they cant keep the same problem, "save the cheerleader, save the world." for all seasons. I love how they merged and involved all the problems together. This is my opinon.

Definetley excited for it coming back, only just finished it as I watched from season 1 on Netflix and finished season 4 last night, so it's fresh in my mind and im really hyped about it. As long as they bring back Peter Petrelli, Claire Benner, Hiro Nakamura and Sylar. Also is there an official release date yet?

I'll check it out, 13 episodes wont hurt, i liked the show so i guess it deserves a second chance, im curious though, if they will handle the fact that the world knows about them in a standard way with superheroes being treated well, or more like xmen were people will despise them. Im rooting fot the X-men approach.

Milo won't be back, he's too stuck up to go back to an old project. I think Quinto might make a cameo and Masi Oka will definitely. Do not go into the whole Superhero team theme though, you want it as people struggling to come to terms with these evolved human gifts, people searching for answers and using their gifts for either good or bad.

I feel one thing that led Heroes astray was the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike. It just totally jacked up the original intent of how the storyline was supposed to progress. It's my thought that the strike caused a chain of events that led to the series losing it's edge. I'm really excited to see Heroes making a return, and I really hope it's done in a way that gets us back into the story and wanting more. As a final note, I really hope this isn't being done simply for television network competition purposes. I want this to be for the fans!!!

do not change the old characters, especially peter peterillie!! just add some characters that are good and bad to make this intense a heart touching show. plez i love this so much.

what they should do is use the existing characters in a plot-line that introduces new characters. For example, the original group of Heroes (the parents of the main characters, eg. Hiro's parents, Matt's Parents etc.) played a significant role in the founding of the Heroes that we know (Peter, Sylar, Hiro). Something intertwined like that would be good.

I think all the old characters should stay!!!! And new ones come okay!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW

I'd say continuing a fantastic series is an OK idea.

Even if we never get to see Peter and Sylar I would at least like to know what happened to them. Like if Noah finds a random Superhuman and he tells them that there are two people by the name of Peter and Sylar that are somewhere with others like them protecting and training people like them how to fight. 😎 Peter & Sylar

I loved the whole series, but did think they could have branched out more. 4 seasons of don't tell anyone is a bit overkill. I am excited for the reboot and hope it can bring in more viewers so I can watch more of it.

Heroes is Perfect it does not Need to Change and The Old Characters need to Stay!

I'm so ready for this show to come back, The possibilities of what they can do are endless especially with so many interesting characters. And since it was 8 Years since the show started and special effects have improved much more (not that they were bad on this show) this has the potential to steal the TV limelight again like it did with Season 1!

I would love to see more Heroes! It was the first show I watched and truly enjoyed and I liked it until the end, so that would be good. The only thing I felt was missing was to show more of the things that would appear on the comic book, such as some great characters, in the tv series. There were great aspects of the Company to be used but for some reason weren't applied.

Totally agree! Loved the first season, then fell short after that. I am interested how they will pull off a new season though.

I loved the seasons 3 and 4; and I only liked the finale of season 1 but I hope they'll bring back sylar and peter as a superhero team!!! Fingers crossed.

I just watched episode 13 of heroes reborn but who is the father of malina and tommy? I saw somewhere it is Hammer or something but never heard of him

I actually really loved pretty much all seasons. I watched it WAYYY late, binged it a couple of months ago. There were some weak spots, yes, but all in all, I noticed every time there was a new ark and I thought "omg, this is where people probably started hating it" I was proved wrong, and it kept the show fresh and interesting. I also love the back and forth between Sylar and Noah and Clair, Peter and his brother were awesome, the villains were great etc. I really loved most characters, the only ones that didn't stand out to me were Matt and the blonde from Final Destination (forgot her name). Anyways, the show definitely had A LOT of crazy arcs, but I ended up going a long with all of them and enjoying the ride. The only one I found a bit cheesy was when he went back to old China or w.e. Aside from that, twas awesome.

I was very excited to hear about this because I really loved this show except the 4th season. I like the idea of a new cast and cameo's by some of the original characters. Hopefully they will get great writers and keep them if they continue after this story arc that they do.

I think you guys missed that the Writers Guild of America strike had a lot of effect on TV shows during 2007 & 2008, Heroes was one of those shows that was affected greatly by the strike, in terms of its quality, & unfortunately the show couldn't find its feet there after. I'd love to see it come back for a second chance.

Finding this out today just made me excited as hell again! And I remember back in 2010 when they mentioned they were canceling heroes I was 14 and I thought to myself "what am I going to for now watch now" fast forward 4 years and its coming back! Ahh omg im soo happy that I could just watch all 4 seasons again! A new cast would not be so terrible at all. They did it legend of korra why not heroes? I just hope some of the old cast members can make a gues cameo, that would be fantastic!

I felt like Smallvile suffered more from a declining story line than Heroes did. I personally felt like heroes was a nerd's Scandle before Scandle was a thing. And i do truely miss watching new seasons of heroes

Glad they will bring this back even if only a limited production. I was PISSED when they stopped the show so at least Heroes fans will get "possibly" some closure of the series.

Season 4 was messed up.... bt yes I m excited to see what they bring this time on the table!!!!

When they introduced the carnies they kind of lost me. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes and it turns out to be great. I know I will be watching!

I loved the show... not sure how it'll do if they can't bring back a lot of previous cast. I'm definitely still watching 'Heroes Reborn'. Most definitely, if the characters that don't come back should consider a cameo or two. Can't wait!

I loved the series from start to finish... granted there were aspects i didn't like about what it was becoming... but Heroes is always going to be right up there on top of my awesome list with other great shows that didn't get the credit they deserved.

After discovering this I'm super exited and can't wait

I just finished the series. Season 1 was so good. I was so drawn into the story and the characters. I was taken aback when I realized the show wasn't really about superheroes in the sense of what we normally would think of. But that's part of the charm. It made the show a lot darker. However, I agree that seasons 2-4 was nowhere near as good. It wasn't all bad, I agree that the bad outweighs the good tho. What I hated most was probably how much the show tried to build up characters so much only for them to be completely useless or killed off. E.g. Maya and her brother. The other thing (common in many shows) is the recycled drama. I feel like Claire resets after every argument. The same issues, same results and same drama as if nothing before happened bugged me. But overall it was enjoyable and I found myself up late at night on Netflix. I'll def. be watching reborn.

I'm excited. Although the last few seasons were not as great and amazing as season 1, I will still watch this. Completely agree with you guys in that some of the characters should at least make cameos or be mentioned in some way in this limited series. I hope it does really well.

I don think the history of this héroes could be over since there are many things that let uncertain but there is something good that i can think about... What if they do not exactly the same but something base don the movie Chronicle which would represent characters like micah, the little girl who didnt appear anymore in the series (the one that Parkaman was talking care of) and anybody else and also more episodes with a feedback of the original heroes like Linderman, Angela, Matt, Aaron (Takezo Kensei), and the others

I loved all the seasons, but they were also far from perfect. One of the worst things that happened after season 1 was the focus on Claire. Her character was so stupid never served any purpose and never knew what she wanted. They should have taken her out after season 1. The other issue was that there was no clear focus on Sylar's character. I feel he could have benefitted from a darker tone. ps: Ando FTW

I started watching it last year when it wasn't popular... and I actually enjoyed it.. and im excited about the continuation of the series.

Yes I'd love to see the old gang reappear... maybe Claire had a daughter who is a young teen now and has a special ability, who meets other people that are kids of the other heroes as we'll

i'm ecstatic to know that heroes is coming back ive seen this entire series multiple times and i am dying to see whats coming next.

I loved all the seasons!! Eh. Ok. Some episodes were boring or not on track but it was still good and action packed!!

I believe that the new season will be about what happened in the generation before them and go back in time, like with Sylar's dad the petrelli's parents and Matt's dad, and how they all relate

Season 1 - Great. I think we can all agree on that. Likable characters, a compelling story and really, really good writing. 10/10 Season 2 - Eh. It was a little too slow and not that interesting. But I didn't hate it. It did have its moments. 6/10 Season 3 - I didn't hate it as much as everyone else. I see the problems but it did have its moments, also. It was an improvement over the second season. 7/10 Season 4 & Reborn - I'm just gonna say them both together because the two are both pretty solid. They did find ''Redemption'' with the fourth season and a nice breath of fresh air with ''Awakening''. Both an 8/10 If there was a concept for a show that I want to be remade, this would be it. It's a phenominal idea but they .... yyyeahh. The problem with Heroes is that it came way, way too early. If it came out today, then it would be a great show from beginning to end.

I owned all 4 season Heroes, I really enjoy them but now it may have a chance to return as new series.

I thoroughly enjoyed Heroes and will pray for a reboot.

The special Effects today is what will make this Reboot promising. But other than that, as a fan Im very scared this situation that the show writers/directors are in is poop lagoon. Only 2 out of the many key characters of the previous 4 seasons are returning for this reboot. If you are a fan of Heroes, can you imagine the show without the beloved Peter Petrelli and the feared Gabriel Sylar? Be realistic folks, the reboot will most likely be a flop rather than pleasing to old fans or new viewers.

Im happy to see I'm not the only one who love to all four seasons.

Basically i want that bad ass vibe throughout the show. A team of actual heroes with one task. No more self identity, no more morals and questions they have had their answer now for a long time. I just want to see a good show. If you disagree with me please say! :3

I think writers strike just the second season going into production played a big part in the shows downfall cause they didn't really wrap those stroies up well which meant there was a lot of confusion go into series 3+4 but I heroes reborn will put the back were it was
