A tip I learned from a professional is to try to always end going in the direction you want your hair to fall. For example the back of your hair should always end going through the top of the loc coming out the bottom cause that is how your hair will lay. That way you'll always know where to pick back up. I hope I'm making sense lol. You and your locs are GORGEOUS!

Remember that a 2 point rotation makes your loc different...a more wide & flatter loc. The more rotations will result in smaller, thinner & round locs. Good Luck on your decision! Check out KeKe's video. She explains how to tell where you finished a previous rotation.

Your locs are beautiful. Hair growing out the loc I learned the hard way. For the thinner locs I am learning to do a 2 point rotation so it doesn’t get to thin.

I end all my locs in the same direction so I don't get confused! Since I parted my hair from ear to ear to separate the front from the back, in the back sections, I end all of them going down, then in the front, I end all of them going backwards instead of ending on the sides. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for that. I currently do that. Sometimes, it doesn't always work out that way but for about 90% of the time it does.

Doing my first interlock now so this video was helpful. I have the jmail on and I had a lock of 4point then an additional 2 point so I might try the two point next time. I wish I was patient with grids but nothing I can do now. I will definitely make a video to share my journey.

What is the measurement of your locs?

Do you change the retie direction to change the part direction each time you retie?
@SpechelNicole3 жыл бұрын
Yes. I figure out how I want my hair to lay, if I want a middle or side part, and then I do the retie in that area to make it lay how I want
