IS IT BETTER? Obi-Wan Kenobi Movie FAN RE-EDIT by Kai Patterson | Star Wars Review

In this review, we delve into a fan made Star Wars project which is arguably giving Disney a run for their money. Using all 6 episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series, film editor and director Kai Patterson created his own version of the Kenobi show. Known as the "Patterson Cut", this was a personal passion project. Like many, Patterson felt the show needed some restructuring to do justice for its story. With this movie cut down to a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, this telling of the story is missing a lot of content - but possibly for the better. Therefore, is the Patterson cut better than the original Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series?

I definitely thought it was an improvement in my opinion as well. I wish they would release his edit onto Disney+ so more people could see it.

Fan edits of Kenobi are my new favorite sport. It should be placed next to "saving seals from nets on Namibian beaches" and "Olympic parkour."

i placed my copy of the Kai edit alongside my other StarWars movies. It is as canon to me as ep4-6. I will never watch the series. I hope ALL starwars series get the Kai treatment. Think about it- Tv stretches out stories with useless garbage to make more $$- To keep us in front of the screen longer so everyone else gets more ad &/or subscriber $$. Meanwhile, we suffer & painfully age through this watered-down greed-Carnival. We Lose so they win? No Thanks. I'll eat Disney series like I watch sports- I Don't- i watch SportsCenter highlights. Only watch the good stuff when you can folks. There is a world out there and a life to live away from your screenz. 🙈👀
