Plus, Camila?, she is the person who always laughs at herself, but some people have selective memory and make a big deal out mistakes/style/preception or interpretation of a song or word... have you heard yourselves speaking your non mother language? we all have made sound different in our own language. Besides, we love that in most singers, in Rhianna, in MJ, rappers, etc. to name a couple. Get over it.

Not all music styles require correct pronunciation. That is false. Why do singers not pronounce words properly? Sometimes it's to get the best sound out of the vowels - which carry the tune. Melodies are carried mainly by the vowels in the lyrics. And different vowels project differently: The "ee" in “oh, say can you SEE” tends to sound very bright, so this vowel is often modified by singers.

I never got the joke because I heard Christmas very obviously, so how can a joke be funny when you literally don’t hear it in the funny way?
