Is it good? 2023 Sherco 300 SE

Second day riding the Sherco 300. Kendell got one as well and it's his first ride on the new bike. I am feeling comfortable on the new bike and not taking long to get used to. The 300 over the 250 just seems to have more range of power and a lot less shifting. 250's have to carry higher rpms and this 300 just lugs. It's the start of winter and weather has been amazingly warm. Riding in the desert with our group of guys.

I have the same bike 21 se300 with 180hours on it. Zero issues. It has a smart carb2 which has been flawless for me and the suspension was set up for me at 220lbs and revalved by the Ride Shop it’s soft and smooth really really nice and resists bottoming I love how easy to ride it is and other people have said the same.

Hi there, Is it just me watching the video vs what you feel or that front end planted like glue? For reference my last 300 was a 05 KTM 300EXC. It was nervous at speed without a damper. I watched your video twice and am amazed how stable that front end looks. Not looking twitchy at all in those rocks!! Thank you for sharing.

Not just you. That’s cool you could notice from the video. This bike is much more planted than my last. I came off a yz250x. Honestly one of the things that really attracted me to the bike when I did a test ride it felt like it was on rails and feels nimble at the same time.

How would you say the Sherco compares to a KTM or other Austrian bike? That looked like a cool winter riding area. My side of the state has snow.

I see why there is a huge following for the ktm (and alike) bikes. But I haven’t owned one just rode others. For me I was hearing grumbling about the tpi bikes (although I do have a couple buddies that love them) and tbi was too new for me to jump on the wagon. this new bike for me was between a beta and the sherco. With the rebates sherco has done this year couldn’t pass it up. I just have under 100 miles on it so far but loving it. Super smooth and feel so comfortable on it right out of the box.
