We should really have an education in relationships at school, there would be far less heartbreak and divorce leading to a more stable society with better values. My exes have always come back, eventually. Not necessarily to get back together, but they always reach out and now I can just smile and read their messages and put the phone down without feeling like I needed to respond. They want an ego boost, to know they still got it going on. Don't give that to them. They haven't worked on themselves, so they will be the exact same and you'll go through the same things. Start new with someone new. It's so weird and it's generally when you're pretty much over them. Pretend they don't exist. Hurt their ego for a change. There are so many people on this earth. You can find another one who appreciates your breath, genuinely. And remember, once the trust is broken, for whatever reason, it will never ever be the same. Being single is super beautiful. I've learned so much about who I am and dating and attachment styles and so on. I now don't take it personally. I see my worth and believe I deserve better. Time will make it easier. Let them go. I remember going through a painful breakup, and these “is it hopeless” videos scared tf out of me haha.

Well, mine is hopeless. I only dated her for 4 months and another 4 via telephone when the pandemic hit. She dumped me for another person who apparently, have known for a decent amount of time and, they already started a business together. It's been 3 months and no sign of her

After my ex broke up with me she said stuff to really guilt me and I told her I couldn't be her friend after when she asked me and I said no that i was hurt but i wish her the best. She went off on me and guilt tripped me again and made me feel bad. A month later i reached out and she said no to reconcile but we can talk in a condescending way. That's when I finally let her have it and told her very honest but harsh shit about her. I doubt she'll ever come back now. I regret it but don't at the same time. She needed a wake up call.

They key line in all of this was what he said at the very end. "What they did to you they will do to other people, and what they did to other people they will do to you." No question in my mind is that an accurate statement. It's sad though because often these people can make you feel like such a knight in shining armor, just waiting for you to let your guard down and then take a stab at you.

Another story of hope: the mother of one of my exes, she was in a short relationship of about a year with a man, they broke up, and 10 years later they met again - and married. The last time I talked to that ex of mine, his mother was still married to that man (so for several years)... Maybe they're still married. She went through having cancer with him by her side.... So really, anything can happen, you never know. People are crazy. Don't we know it...

I love my kids but it wouldn’t have been so hard if we didn’t have 2 children together. I’m just full of regret. I don’t know if there’s anything I could have even done or if he just didn’t care to try. I wish I just didn’t care and could just move on. Some days I do and am fine, then I’m sad and regret and reminiscing and wondering why and missing him.

But what is worst than a long distance breakup during this pandemic where no engagement of communication is possible? I'm already 3 months + into no contact leaving him to deal with his depression and that fact that he felt less happy given situational change in the UK. As I am aware the lockdown hasn't stopped. It has been so hard but I am not going to give up on this relationship while working on myself.... Craig probably will say long distance won't ever work and it's not a relationship to be had. But the relationship has been good, more ups than downs. Pandemic has changed it all.... I need hope.

Wtf! This is exactly what happened to me! Except the cosmetic surgery.. we were highschool sweethearts, then met again after 28 yrs, we’re both married when we met again… In a relationship with her for 6 yrs, now she’s gone for 5 months now 😢😢. My ex broke up with me 3 months ago. We decided to remain friends we texted daily. But most recently st pactricks day I had a few drinks and lashed out over text that I thought she should delete out mutual friends. I read my text as I came to and realized I didn’t mean it so I called at 430 am. She later said ok. I’m taking your friends off my list and I’m blocking you. I waited a week and texted her I’m working on myself and let her know I needed to stop with the excessive drinking. A week after that I mailed her a sincere letter of apology hoping it sinks in. I’m going to give it a few more weeks and give her some space( in hopes to make her miss me )before I try reaching out again via email or phone call. We known each other over a year by now.

Feel so hopeless 😭 been doing this for two months and have two kids where I wish I could get my family back 💔💔💔

It's been almost 2 years for me in NC. Bumped into her once a few months after the breakup and had a short conversation. Didn't result in her reaching out later. Only thing I have initated was to send a Christmas card to the family last year. Thought it might be a reach out when she wrote to say thank you but it wasn't. She just angled for a coffee, but would not commit to coming over for dinner. I said no to coffee. She left a few of her things here but has never come to pick them up, and has never asked for them back. Her previous relationship was 5 years and ended in a broken engagement. We were together for about 2 years.

Me and my ex were together for 4 years . She was getting attention another man and it end up them sexting. I gave her another chance. We ended 2 months ago . I am devastated and now she’s on a pedestal. She is making zero attempts to contact me unless it’s to do with the house we do own together or to collect items. I swear to God I feel like coach makes these emails himself now it’s for the good because he’s trying to teach us and help us out but Man these email say just scream like he wrote them… matter of fact on a couple of them he slips out n said me n not us in the email or they speak just like he speaks..like “ broadcasting” on social media! I've been dating a beatiful girl for a year, in the meantime we became exclusive and got in a relationship. She is divorced single mother, 31 years old, as me, who had been bullied by her ex. She never wanted a relationship with anyone, but yet somehow, we fell in love with each other. We had so much good time together, connected thru music and could talk about anything for hours. Our passion was amazing. As i've learned thru your videos, i've found out that i've had an anxious attachment style and she is probably an avoidant. We broke up three months ago. She left me because i think she became attracted to another guy who is talking bad about her, who involves with other women. They are not in a relationship, but they are 'hanging out', in a passionate way. I can't move on from her, and i've tried everything. I'm really good with her family, with her friends and, as we live 5 minutes away, i keep stumbling into her, or into someone hers.
