How did you save Mad Dogg with the riot cheat active? It messes with him and makes him walk off the roof 100% of the time. I know this because I experienced it. If I missed it please time-stamp the mission for me. I went back looking for it.

oh yeah i remember this made me stuck for whole 3 years till i figured out and decided to try not to cheat at all, also affects Burning Desire but as long as you park far away and use ghost town cheat, you can somewhat pass it

That cheat destroyed my +200 hour save on my first run - I used to goof a lot around the map with cheats and save afterwards so I had a lot of hours. Eventualy I was finally in LV, happily doing the missions with cheats until the Mad Dogg mission... I tried everything I possibly could to pass the mission but nothing worked. My friend said it's probably because I had used too many cheats but later I found out it's because if you save with the peds riot, attack eachother or cj, the cheat is never properly disabled and thus corrupts your save. I remember the pain of going to the menu and select "delete" for my save file, knowing I had to do the infurating dance and lowrider missions again - yeah I sucked at them. Something to note is that, the cheat appears to be disabled when you load the save but a part of it remains active and affects characters in some cutscenes. Also, I got lucky with Denise, I guess I hadn't tried the riot cheat until that point or my save would have corrupted earlier. As far as I know, the other cheats are all ok and shouldn't break anything permanently.

@@Manic_Panic if youre on pc you can fix the bug if u upload ur save to gtasnp

@@burnttamale You don't even need to. The PC version loads a main menu before loading any save. If you start a new game from that menu, the glitch won't happen. It's the PS2 port that is a problem because it automatically loads the latest save so if you didn't have a previous save, the game will be bugged until you delete the save file or load the game before plugging your memory card.

Oh my God. We had the eggsact same problem. I had an habit of activating my favorite cheats before doing missions and i couldn't figure out why i cant beat that mission. Its because of Aezakmi. I forgot to put that cheat and completed the mission

This is the exact reason this video fails and proves you can’t beat this game with all cheats activated… I got my self stuck at this spot for days and couldent figure it out. I actually thought the game it’s self was bugged and got a new disk ( back when ps2 was mainstream and the biggest thing to have was a mod chip ) reloaded my old broken saved file but dident use cheats and I payed the soft lock spot automatically. So I went back and used cheats ( never wanted ) and I couldent beat the mission but AS SOON as I disabled the never wanted cheat even in the middle of the mission the red marker would appear and you would get an instant wanted level. I wasent untill then I realized that mission you have to have a wanted level and using never wanted glitches the mission out.

He skipped the saving Mad Dogg mission... You know where you have to catch him with a truck? It's not possible with cheats active.. he loosely mentioned the issue with the riot cheat. Mad Dogg walks off the roof before you can get under him.

Same, modern gamers will never understand how impactful it was, stuff in brought in 2004 no other game had, biggest and most diverse map 3 cities+countryside+desert, taking enemy gang territories, six diff cloth shops+ many cool cloths (my fav is the Cop Outfit you get dating Barbara a cop, also dating her yo never lose weapons when arrested again), driving trains, storing special cars in safe house garages, the list goes on and on

ppl remembers SA for introducing swimming and climbing, but it also evolved combat, 3 and VC was just punch and kick, SA you learned different moves beating gym masters, LV you learned MMA and first time you could grapple, with the powerful grappling knee combo attack, also you could play arcade games like go go space monkey in bars competing for top score, jetpack, travel to other cities by airport, drive trains, parachute from mount chiliad and moree

The solution to the purple nine's glitch is to reload to a save made before that mission was complete. You have like 7 slots ingame, just use 1 for this. It "spreads" to other saves if you start a new game from the save file where the purple nine's glitch is enabled, it will affect your new saves from that point onwards because the game didn't "refresh" that part of the code so they stay missing. However, if you load the save where the glitch is not enabled, you can start a new game from there without any issues. Another annoying one was missing out on Kenji's missions which count for 100%. If you delay doing Kenji missions or don't finish them before talking to Donald, you can easily and accidentally skip content and never achieve 100%. Killing Kenji mission should have only unlocked once you had done his missions.
