@@Huzunde Wrong, u can do it with a tanooki suit, I found 3 ways to do it 1. Roll into door 2. Glide in a perfect way right next to the door 3. Groundpound right next to the door

I think the reason you can use the Propeller Box while crouching with the Tanooki Suit because the game thinks you stop crouching after fluttering, even though the crouch button is still being held.

I remember trying this out for myself a month ago with no limitations except for not using the invincibility leaf or p-wing and the first level I had a really hard time with was 4-4. I was able to beat the main 8 worlds. For the purple doors, I slid down the wall into the door and it worked.

for 6:18 you can use the propeller hat with the tanooki suit because the glide makes you uncrouch thus allowing you to use it (same would work with walljumps too i believe)

Propeller with Tanooki makes perfect sense, when you start to tanooki float, you exit the crouch state giving you a chance to zoom up.

I think the reason you can use the propeller box with the tanooki suit is because when you hold the jump button with the tanooki suit you glide, but you’re also upright. And the same inputs are required to activate the propeller box, so you fly because you’re basically standing up.
