What you're asking for is multithreading support which would be very difficult to implement. It's possible sure but considering that Microsoft owns minecraft i highly doubt they would invest the resources

@@oggilein1 Oh, but they did. Bedrock performs better than Java for this reason. Just not really worthwhile for them to fix Java in this way since they made Bedrock. Multithreading would cause some issues with redstone in almost any implementation, which is why Bedrock has issues with it being nondeterministic (barring their other changes like removing QC).

@@oggilein1 I don't agree it's very difficult. It is difficult, yes, but not as difficult as almost impossible. If they spend all programming resources for single update just to rewrite multiplayer code, it seems possible task. On big multiplayer servers like 2b2t most of the players are in their own loaded chunks, so processing these groups of chunks in separate threads is simple idea. Those groups of chunks can have their own TPS independent of each other. There will be a lot of glitches, bugs and dupes because of this, but we always had them. Minecraft server code was never designed for mid/big multiplayer servers, it looks like it was designed for 2-4 children playing in their own server. That's why papermc, spigot and other projects exist. They must be really bad coders if they implement something worse than we have today.

While it would definitely take awhile for Microsoft to adapt everything to add multi threading support, it’s still possible to do so without messing up too many things. Java as a coding language, is a bit different than what Bedrock uses (I believe C++). While the Java language does have multi threading support, it is much more difficult than say implementing it in C++ since it’s pretty much baked into C++. To that point, I’m in university for Comp Sci and ik how to use multiple threads in a C/C++ program but not Java. My school teaches us Java first interestingly enough. Highly recommend learning C++ or Python before Java tbh unlike me

i'm not sure what type of software the bots are running but if they don't send movement updates to the server you won't be able to push them into the nether

@@G4nd4lf also consider that everyone who's in the nether would not count into the total players (as far as sleeping is considered)

I'm surprised he didn't mention the PlayerSleepPercentage gamerule, but it would have to be changed by Hause to something other than the default 100%, which I doubt would happen.
