I asked black people in the UK if they feel safe here, what's their experience has been like?
We got a mixed of opinion but definitively UK seems very welcoming country, very diverse and most people encourage that mix of cultures.
Thanks for watching means the world to me! If you like it, subscribe it helps the channel a lot! 😉

I’m sure being black anywhere isn’t safe however, both conditions can coexist I traveled to the UK for the first time and most interactions I had were with white individuals I often got lost needed information and every single person was very helpful, accommodating, I had a lot of luggage and people literally walked up to me and helped me with my luggage I mean multiple times so both conditions can exist at the same time.

I'm East European origin and live my whole life in Germany. The last week I spent in London with my boyfriend who is also "white" 😂 but also with migration background. At least I made the experience every time we had a question or needed help, black people were the nicest, modest and chilled and helping ones!!!! 😊 on the last day we missed our flight ✈️ and stood there 2 students and UK is pretty expensive for us. We really nicely tried to ask if there were a possibility to get rebooked, also to pay on top and didn't make any trouble cos it was our own fault. The first (white) lady sent us away, "go on the Internet.. " we tried it on our own but saw the next flight was just on the next day and 5 times more expensive 😢 I said to my boyfriend lets ask a black person... the woman from the staff was the nicest and dearest person and called someone and she could book us just on the next flight in the morning 😮 we were sooo thankful 🙏 cos it's not self-evident 🙏🙏🙏 God bless this woman ❤️

Black Brit here, born here, my parents born here too. Between 80s-early 2000s it was harder but now I feel safe in most major cities. Countryside areas can be a bit strange. People have said some strange things to me over the years but what I am happy to say is, I lived in Pembrokeshire, Wales for a year. I was one of 4 Black people in the whole area and EVERYONE is nice, friendly, polite and it was just an amazing experience. I'd go back to Wales in a heartbeat! Also big shout out to Dorset. Had great experiences down there too with the locals.

There is a black guy that worked with my husband, and he was from Africa. He would tell horror stories of how unsafe it was in Africa. How you couldn't drive past a certain time without a gun being on you, etc.... He regularly expressed how unsafe he felt in Africa, and how much safer he was living in the UK. He said he would never move back there. I don't doubt that London isn't the safest place for anyone. But, it's not a good basis to judge the entire UK. Edit; perhaps I should reiterate; if it's ridiculous to judge the entirety of Africa based on a person's experience in one area, then it is ridiculous to compare an unsafe place in the UK with its entirety. Feel unsafe in the UK? Try moving somewhere else in the UK. Feel unsafe in Africa? Try moving somewhere else in Africa. You can't all rush to defend Africa, when you can literally apply the same comments to the UK. Cheers.

There are certain place it's not even safe to be white. Britain has various ghettos of different races/cultures. I have/had 2 Irish uncles living in England. One lived with his wife on a predominantly black street, but were terrorized/bullied out of the area because they were the only white people on that street. My other uncle was stabbed and cut into pieces in his own flat - frequented pubs where he was the only white man there - We never found out who did it or why but have good reason to suspect he was murdered for not caring about the social norms of staying away from these places as a white man. Racism affects any skin color, even white.

Im afro Caribbean black British born in Bristol . England is a very racist country I was born in 1982 I have had to deal with lots of racism and I have had fights with racist white English people using racist language towards me and thinking they can stick it on me but standup for myself and fight back . I would say the most racist part of England is north west England Manchester Liverpool and Yorkshire. London Birmingham are not racist parts of England.

Yes, it's incredibly safe, the actual reality is Black people in the UK are far more likely to threaten and attack others. This isn't racist, it's a standard fact that's easy for anyone to look up with a few Google searches.

Very much so. I assume you haven’t really seen London outside central (which is full of tourists).
