I’m oddly fascinated by what exactly Creed did in the reformulations to lessen the longevity, like which ingredient(s) did they replace, remove or lighten. B/c often with reformulations I notice the opening generally remains similar but the longevity is reduced and from chemistry perspective I find that fascinating.

$400+ AUD for a frag that only lasts 4 hours is a hard pass for me. The earlier batches were definitely worth the money, but it's been reformulated to death.

Scentbirds travel size of Aventus for $23 is more than enough to hold me over. I'm not wearing it everyday due to my vast collection so when I run out I'll just order another.

it will always have a spot in the rotation idrc about prices or batches. Creed Aventus is Creed Aventus.. if you love certain frags profiles but they don't perform just carry an atomizer on days you wear those => over spray poor performers and re-up as necessary. problem solved

One of the first fragrances I was interested in getting my nose on because of Jeremy Fragrance and others was Aventus. Even picked up a bottle of Sillage by Armaf which I’ve given away due to lack of performance. Now that I’m more aware of my likes and dislikes, there are many fragrances that fit the same profile as Aventus does that I prefer over the Aventus DNA

Wear this in 2023 and i’ve got nothing but compliments from both men and women

My 2020 bottle of aventus last 7-8 hours just because you can’t smell doesn’t mean it isn’t their anymore you will receive compliments way after you think it’s worn off

The old batches from 2011/12 were amazing they had this smokey pinapple fresh scent to it and lasted for hours with the dry down being amazing aswell bought a new one and you are lucky to get 6hrs of performance on it its def not worth the price tag now.

I feel like it used to last way longer. All the creeds for that matter. Green Irish tweed is the only one that seems to stick for a long time. Bacarrat will last 24hrs easy lol

I see the difference between Aventus the real thing, whether current formulation or vintage, and a clone is the difference between art and craft. I haven't compared vintage batches with current ones but the art/craft comparison is still valid imo.

Creed Aventus, once a scent of fame, Now lost its luster, it's just a name. Its price tag, high as the sky, But is it worth it? Let's give a try. Yes, the opening, fruity and fresh, But then, it fades away, oh yes, The dry down, nothing new to smell, It's just a common scent, but with a fancy spell. The performance, mediocre at best, It's longevity, not a match to the rest, The price tag, it's just absurd, For a scent that lasts, not more than a few hours. Creed Aventus, once a gem, Now it's just a shadow, a false emblem, Of luxury, exclusivity, and quality, But in reality, it's just an overpriced commodity. There are better scents, cheaper and refined, That will last longer, and won't leave you behind, In the trend, the hype, the social status, It's time to move on, Creed Aventus, it's just a fuss.

That's funny, I get morning to night fragrance from my Aventus. In fact all of my Creed selections last all day. I can still it's fragrance when I shower at the end of the day.

I tried (and unfortunately blind bought) quite a few Aventus clones,but none come close to the depth and complexity and even freshness Aventus has,all they did is ruined this fragrance DNA for me..until buying a sample of Elysium PC,that managed to bring back my love for this type of scent,i feel like it s worth it more than Aventus nowadays. I havent tried Hacivat yet tho.

ARMAF club de nuit much better option for money

Club de Nuit is over hyped. al haramain l'aventure is so much better and smoother than club de Nuit intense edt.

Tried Aventus on several different occasions from different stores and it’s never smelled good to me. Way overrated and overpriced in todays market with so many other good competitors. Silver mountain water and santal are better.

Just tried the sample, Aventus's opening is fresh and fruity, but few minutes after that it reminds me of some detergent/ing spray or Lysol with linen scent. I will pass.

I have creed Aventus and it lasts a maximum of 1 hour on my skin, usually about 30 minutes. Smells vaguely of pineapple. I’d rather wear nautica voyage
