Kind of like thinking if you have a colt that you plan to use for trail riding/competition...but only raise it in a stall and indoor arena....and expecting it to never spook and react to foreign (to them) objects, sounds and smells. They need exposure to anything and everything as much as possible and as often as possible

I’ll be watching for that video. I follow trainers for awhile, and then, Omigosh. I have an excellent trainer in person, I watch each of these videos of yours as well as Michael Ellis. Thank you. I need to “socialize” my adult mostly Doberman just for his confidence.

8:38 I just adopted a 9 month old golden retriever who was kept in a crate for 7 months. He’s skittish but is a little better day by day. Socialization is extremely important.

The short version is your dogs favorite food treat in the world - NOT KIBBEL This often varis from dog to dog.

My dog’s high value treat is roast beef or cooked chicken pieces. I use raw hamburger too. They really like that.
