Hello my boss babess! 💕 Almost everyday people are starting a press on nail business, so the question is... is it worth starting a press on nail business? especially in 2023 will you make money? will it cost a lot? is it worth your time? Haven't launched yet- I'm worried that I'll invest in supplies but won't make a profit. Also, I would hate to charge someone for a product and the quality is not to standard. On the upside, it can be a source of extra money that I can make from the comfort of my bedroom 😊.

@@pambudgets2801 well, at least those problems are mostly fixable 😅 invest only what you’re able to, the bare minimum supplies & you can always watch online tutorials on how to make quality nails and practice for yourself 🤗 yesss it will make a great side income!

@@pambudgets2801You should invest like $100 and make them for yourself first. Put them on and do like a trial and error.

Yes its worth it no matter what people say. Its A LOT of work. Its A LOT! OVERWHELMING. But im not giving up.. I'm really wish I could do it full time so it takes looooong time... thank God I work at might and my first 6 hours I have free time..but that's graveyard shift. I'm doing everything backwards. Getting my sets together, websites, I collected all my stuff over the year. Amazon is a godsend..I'm going go get testers to give their opinion so I can work the kinks out. I'm looking to see what's the best platform..

I’m relaunching this holiday season & I learned a lot by having to completely stop & now starting again! You were one of my inspiration to start in the 1st place!

@@patternedpaints My family & I got evicted by no fault of our own new management new renovations new tenants is what they wanted after living there for over 30 years so I have been displaced for 9 months now! By God’s grace I’ll be moving into my own place the 1st week of September & will be relaunching in November! I’m super excited! I’ve been watching all my nail bosses like you & taking notes so I can do better this time around!

From a customer (former nail tech) pov, I think there is room for the majority of nail techs as long as you can clearly communicate how you differ from other shops. If you make Press-ons for nail designs without complex art, added elements, etc. you are going to lose to mass produced/manufactured brands globally. You have to be careful of the cost vs profit constantly tho. ❤

Thank you for this video up . I have been doing press ons for a while now and will be purchasing the planner to keep me on track . Cost of living has made sales go down . But i am relaurnching for christmas . Did you sell on etsy and other sites ? What one would you suggest is best ?

Thank you for your support😊 I sold on Etsy and my own website made on WIX, if you’re a beginner I’d recommend Etsy, you can get sales there with less work, but of course there’s lots of competition. Having your website is a monthly commitment with the fees and all but it’s good if you already have some consistent sales & are promoting it! I hope that helps, thank you for watching!💖

Sorry to hear that ☹️ Do you also have an Etsy shop? Etsy can help boost sales at random times. But also remember, there are 6 figure business running successfully all the time, during good times and bad. Your customers are definitely out there but of course it’s hard finding them and then converting them to paying customers. Scout potential clients on similar nail pages you follow, like their posts maybe leave a comment with something like “hey I saw you like press on nails, I have a press on shop I think you’d like, please check out my page😊”. It’s something small but doing this consistently can slowly build up your audience and possibly orders, I really hope that helps!

Really helpful! I'm a beginner starting my own nail salon. This video's been a huge boost and super inspiring - thanks a bunch! Running a nail salon is seriously a big expense for me! But then I found a color gel called INFINITE GEL POLISH. It's a lifesaver for saving on gel polish costs, maybe this will help you guys too.
