Lets give some props to Jake Elliott. Driving rain, wind, 59 yds, game on the line, 2 penalties in a row pushing them back, would have been good from 65. That was some ice cold clutch action right there.

I think the Eagles are the best team in the league but I still think the refs made bad calls last night. Bills had 6 chances to win the game and fell short, but the refs took away even more with some bad calls. Its on the Bills because they had multiple chances to win but the refs certainly impacted the outcome.

after last year, with all the excuses people made for Hurts and the Eagles getting to the super bowl, i dont even say anything anymore. i really cant. people were saying all last year that the Eagles would get exposed and Hurts wont be top 10 in the MVP race this season. "its a fluke, they have a cupcake schedule" is what they said all last season. Eagles have been the best team in the NFL for 2 straight years now and people still trying to make excuses this year. Philly fans know what's up and the Eagles continue to shut up the doubters of our "fluke season". He's currently running through the schedule, what people called "a true AFC test for the Eagles" and the excuses STILL continue. All i say now is : FLY EAGLES FLY

Been a fan of nfl since mid 70's and this Philadelphia team has those intangibles I've seen in championship teams. The whole game they look deplorable and still win. Bill Parcells once taken about his championship team that there were times he would put together what he thought were losing game plans and they'd still win and that is what this team has. Not necessarily swag but persistence, teamwork, chemistry.

Talk your talk Shady! Hurts has now won an NFL record 8 straight games when trailing by 10+ pts, no other QB has more than 4 straight. Hurts also became only the 3rd player in NFL history to have a span of 29 games with 27+ Wins, joining only Tom Brady and Jim McMahon. The Eagles are also just the 3rd team in NFL history to start back to back seasons 10-1, the other two went on to win a Super Bowl.

the hurts-allen conversation is quite an interesting one. the cool calm cluth qb that delivers non-flashy performances but guarantees results vs the flashy wow qb who makes amazing throws but cant close or produce results when it matters. Question is which would you rather have? As joy puts it its not LA fitness. At some point the Allen-hype needs to produce results

It’d be true if it didn’t come down to a straight shootout btwn the two QBs. Hurts’ defence put him in a hole 4 times in a row and he stepped up. Mahomes hs had terrible defenses. Défense or no it came down to a straight shootout and Allen lost. At some point he’s can’t keep blaming his defense. great QB’s overcome adversity, we keep coming up wit Reasons why it ain’t Allen’s fault… come on now he had the ball in his hands at the end! go score the td!! My Birds lost both their Offensive and Defensive Coordinators after last season, couple that with injuries on both sides of the ball to start this season, along with every team on your schedule giving you their best shot, equals the infamous super bowl hangover, which by the way, my Birds are about to emphatically disprove. Jalen has become numb to all of the noise and bias and subsequently, accustomed and immune to it, it's the very thing that drives him. Rex Ryan called him " a hired killer," nothing can be further from the truth. In spite of what's going on in a game, he plays like he wants it all.

Josh has an MVP performance but it gets overlooked because they lost. 2021 we were 7-6 at this point in the season and we ended up winning out and made a great playoff run where Bills defense let Allen down against the Chiefs in the Divisional game

The bills are losing games in which their defense gives up less than 20 poins and 24 points.. thats not an insane amount of points given up. Theyre averaging 18.9 ppg.. allowed..the eagles 22.4ppg allowed. So...if Allen is who yall say he is.. shouldnt he be winning these games?

In football, individual stats are great. Passing yards, completions, etc. But the most important stat of all is Ws and Ls. Hurts is a guy who no matter what the games looks like... he's looking to get the win and doing everything he has to do to make it happen. Hurts has his own style, but he's becoming clutch like Brady or Manning. The guy is an escape artist.

Just to put some context on Jalen for MVP, because James Jones said Jalen doesn't have the stats. Acho has Mahomes as his second for MVP. If we compare the stats between the two: Patrick Mahomes - 2917 yards | 7.1 yards per attempt | 68.1 completion % | 21 TD (passing) | 9 interceptions | 96.3 QBR Jalen Hurts - 2697 yards | 7.5 yards per attempt | 67.6 completion % | 18 TD (passing) | 10 interceptions | 94.9 QBR I know we don't look at this for QBs, but Jalen has 11 rushing TDs and 4 lost fumbles, while Patty has 0 rushing TDs and 2 lost fumbles. Even ignoring the rushing stats (because we ALWAYS ignore them for QBs), The difference between Pat and Jalen is 220 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 interception? Tua is far and above both of them in stats yet is third on Acho's. Tua Tagovailoa - 3100+ yards | 8.4 yards per attempt | 69.8 completion % | 22 TD (passing) | 10 interceptions | 103.7 QBR If stats were what determine the MVP alone, Tua should be first on the list based on Acho's rankings, but that's not what it is because Tyreek Hill exists. If Patrick is up there, and him and Jalen aren't THAT far apart in stats (not even including Jalen's 11 rushing TDs and yards which would put him at a comfortable 3007 yards and 29 TDs), then I think Jalen deserves to be in that space.

They all on Philly jock today, I saw a bunch of no calls that would've been called on other teams that helped also. It was a good game. But Philly got away with more than 6 defensive penalties and a drop fumble that was called back, and the same thing happened in the Ravens game, and the Ravens got the ball. Josh didn't connect. Okay. But I also saw I guy get held RIGHT in front of the ref two plays before, and it was a no call. 😅
