Is Jianxin BAD? | Jianxin VS YangYang

In Wuthering Waves, YangYang & Jianxin are two powerful groupers with a lot of spunk to them. But, since they're so similar... Does that mean Jianxin isn't worth choosing as YOUR Wuthering Waves 5*? Should you aim for her as a potential upgrade over YangYang, or is she simply worse than the free 4* you obtain at the start of the game?

The key is you build her as your main DPS, then she has no replacement, since she's the only Jianxin in game... Hope this helps

Jianxin's outro skill has huge increase for Liberation damage, very good for Havoc rover support.

The moment I saw Jianxin’s kit, I knew she was gonna be the Jean (from Genshin) of this game. Really good for overworld, jack-of-all-trades, but limited usefulness in endgame content.

Jianxin is better beacuse she can fulfill your buffer/healer/shielder/cc roles. Literally a jack of all trades character. Considering the game's combat is skill based, you don't need massively dedicated healers. This means higher skilled players can run triple dps teams while still maintaining buffs and cc. Even more so when you get Rover to his/her 4th dupe and get team healing. Jianxin > Yang Yang no contest

youre forgetting yangyang's ability to battery your DPS. high skill players will almost always opt for the extra ER than healing/shielding

@@_mako I think Jianxin's strength is not in her shield and heal, but in her free i frame and ult buff damage... But shield and heal is nice because it can be needed to access buffs from certain echoes..

I dunna but if you are f2p there is huge chance you will get 4 of the standard banner characters. 1 - from the 40 pulls 2 - from the appology 3 - if you pull on the standard banner with all the free pulls. 4 - you can select the 5 star you are missing and get her in few months cos the banner stays until you get the 5 star you want. Regarding Jianxin she is the easiest unit to powercreep cos she has so many roles. However 38% lib dmg deep is no joke. If we get a lib focus dps and if you get gut a bit to use her as a support with grouping... she will still be viable for quite some time. I use her at the moment with Havoc MC built for burst dmg and he hits quite hard. the moment they implement VV i nthe game she will become top meta instantly XDD

What's great about Yangyang's sequences is you only need s3 to get a much wider grouping ultimate compared to Jx's s5.

My endless contempt for Yangyang as the terrible story narration bot 100% drove me into Jianxin's arms hahaha Admittedly I got her on my novice wish, I wouldn't have pulled her on purpose, but I'm glad to have her. ...now if only I could figure out a way to make Taoqi any good

Tao qi starts to function at S5, Once you reach that Tao Qi can just stack def and her ultimate becomes absolutely spammable nuke due to the insane regen she gets from that upgrade.

Yangyang's forte is what makes her interesting and enjoyable to play, best free sub dps 💯

guys juicechan has me in her basement this is a cry for help O YEAH ALSO very important precisions on yangyang: For endgame presence you want her on originite type II (3* atk% sword that heals you when you activate ult) so you can have her on the rejuvenating glow 5 piece echo set (healer set that gives you 15% atk for 30s when you heal). This enables you to proc the super important buff from that set because lets be honest yangyang’s damage doesn’t exist and you only want her for energy funneling and that support set. This cuts her investment needs - aside from energy requirements - EXTREMELY low, which means shes super viable for f2p players. DO NOTE however, yangyang is NOT best in slot in any teams in the game. But, she does allow you to free up space for Verina in a lot of teams for Tower of Adversity where theyre very comparable in power (Juice gave the very pertinent example of encore/yangyang/sanhua). Theorycrafting nerd moment u love to see it

@@arminkir9389 i never said it wasnt usable, simply a suboptimal use for her when you have characters like encore calcharo and jiyan dominating the meta and you only need 3 maindps characters for tower so that is that. as for yangyang hybrid sanhua, havoc rover and mortefi are all you need. so yy meta-wise better adopts a support niche than a maindps/hybrid niche. this is pure meta talk and you dont have to follow meta, im just giving advice on what is most optimal, but ultimately play characters how you wanna play them. hope i helped!

The problem wuth Verina is that she's not a hot momma. I am focused kn building a waifu only acct so even tho I got Verina from the begginer banner, she will never see the light of day on my acct. Jianxin, Baizhi ans Yangyang over Verina all day everyday.

This is true. I have both yang2x and jianxin and i feel like yang2x performed better as support than jianxin. Also, i dunno if it is just me but yang2x is much easier to play.

I have botj jianxin and yangyang but decided to pick yangyang as i prefer her playstyle more. Jianxin‘s playstyle is kinda slow for my taste. Yangyang Ult charges faster imo. I just like her 😂

is she bad yes and no. her kit is good, but it take WAY to much time to use. Legit if it wasnt for the fact it takes SOOOOOOOO much time and field time to wield her she could be good.

So... Does anyone know who she's even talking about? I swear she's talking 1 name but spelling it in 3 different ways to call around 5 ppl and nothing makes sence to me. These chinese names doesn't help the characters to be remembered

spelling? do you mean pronouncing? i don't think the names jianxin & yangyang are that hard to differentiate
