Yes all of their watches are new but without the factory warranty and sometimes with or without the factory box, unless it’s in their pre owned section. Definitely a lot of money to spend online I know what you mean I won’t lie I was nervous buying my omega but as my experience was good I’d do it again. What color dial are you going for?

It’s possible I think some watch brands do look up serial numbers to show where a watch comes from. I bought a Panerai recently I did get box and papers but if you didn’t for example you got a Panerai from jomashop without papers you could send it into Panerai they authenticate it and will give you a certificate of authentication which is going to be that watches paper. It’s a way to get papers without buying with papers I think it’s around 700$ bucks they probably service it at the same time. May be the case with other brands. Great question and I will talk about this point in a future video

Thank you! I truly appreciate the support. I still love this watch. I need to make a video comparing my Omega to my Rolex. I down own a submariner so it’s not a direct diver to diver comparison but I always tell people my Rolex feels more expensive on wrist as in it’s my most comfortable watch, however; my omega looks the most expensive. The finishing and quality of the watch wins in my opinion and it truly is an amazing watch. It’s also comfortable don’t get me wrong I just have to make someone the winner if I’m comparing. The white dial is a great looking watch and probably a more versatile watch than the one I own. Personally I think it would be a great buy if it’s your first luxury watch. Every time I put on my seamaster I still get a smile on my face

That’s a good observation. You seem to be correct, I just looked it up . Mine does say 8800 as it should, and as the omega website does. My guess is that sometime between 2018 and now they added or took it off of the rotor. I do not recall what the picture was when I order it but everything on Jomashop is Legit. That is a bit strange though I’ll give you that. Now you have me very curious.

It’s also possible since they source their watches form all over the world in another market for whatever reason they removed the 8800 from the rotor

@@WatchUnwind I've also watched your first video and had a basic understanding of the gray market. And I see you keep saying that jomashop doesn't sell fake stuff. I feel like the thing about gray market is that since the consumers don't know where jomashop get the watches, then jomashop can choose to get watches from fake watch factories (I'm not saying that's what they are doing now). Also, if they do, a fake watch is about $200-$1000, then they benefit a lot from that, and it's legit as well. Why would you be 100% sure that they sell real stuff while there are lots of fakes in the market?

@@user-cn7wn8nk1e I appreciate you watching both videos. I understand your concern but they operate out of New York City. It’s a felony to sell counterfeit goods they are a very profitable business and would not risk the insane amount of law suits both criminally and civilly. To us 3-5 grand for an omega is a lot of money but for them they sell stuff 100x this price. You may be able to get a discount at an AD so if you don’t feel comfortable I’d look to buy there. I didn’t have the option, no one in state sells Omega and I can’t leave the state

@@WatchUnwind I live in Toronto and I don't really know an Omega AD here, so I think I still will buy one on jomashop. But may I ask if I do get a fake watch, what should I do and what can I do, since I live in Canada.

It’s a silicon rubber with titanium infused, it really more of a high end material than what most people think of standard rubber. The price reflects the watch as this model on the bracelet is more expensive.

Great move, some of their female watches I have seen very heavily discounted. It really is, it’s beyond mind blowing. I actually went by an AD a month ago to see if they had the new OP41 and they have 0. 0 of the entry level most common Rolex. They also gave me a 2020 catalogue book full of watches you can’t buy and a submariner on the front of it a watch they won’t sell you

@@WatchUnwind I went to my AD about 4 months ago, before the 2020 release and they had the Sea Dweller and another expensive sports watch in the display. The Sea Dweller was $12,000. The watch was incredibly heavy. The other model, I can’t remember what it was, but it was like $20,000. Datejusts were plentiful. They promised me either a Sub or an OP. Needless to say, when the new watches came out, I was not called. They tell me they have no stock.

You are correct. I found that out after. My guess is that they just shoved it into whatever box. Don’t effect me much as as I keep my watches in a separate watch box all together but I guess it does hurt the resale value if I was to sell this in the future

I still have this watch with no issues at all. It still seems to be keeping super accurate time although I have never timegraphed any of my watches.

No issues. Still one of my favorite watches I own and it seems just as accurate. I did scratch the case a little when I was on vacation in the ocean but that’s my own fault lol.

@@WatchUnwind I see you're pretty ''big'', so you're wrist must be related to your body size. Is it good for small/medium wrist also? These divers are all quite big lately !!!

@@zafurchio5687 I have never actually measured my wrist but it has to be on the larger side. To me 42mm has always been just about the perfect fit although as of late I have been interested in trying smaller watches. For a smaller wrist I would definitely try it on first if possible. I wear my watches tightly on wrist not hand and I think that’s important. A lot of people wear them too loose and to far down on the hand so it digs in. The planet ocean is 39.5 and does not have the external hydrogen release valve so if size is a problem that should wear more sleeker and closer to the older 40m submariner. With dive watches I think the size is always going to come with kind of the territory. Needs to be a bit bigger for the dealer water resistance

@@WatchUnwind Nice thoughts. The PO thou has the external valve both in 39.5 both in 43.5. The Seamaster without valve is the 300 (heritage collection), where the Trilogy 1957 39 mm is my favourite.

Thank you! Yeah I know, I think it’s what they had so they just shoved it in whatever omega box they had. I keep my watches in a 10 slot watch box so it’s not a big deal. The watch is perfect. I am not fancy enough to measur the accuracy but on wrist I feel it’s my most accurate watch out of my small collection ( seamaster , Longines hydroconquest, Hamilton khaki field auto , and Seiko alpinst)

The same thing happened on Amazon a few times when I ordered car parts. The watch was most likely stolen or lost during the shipping process so they probably have no idea. Very weird that they would offer you 5$ less I wonder what their rational is? What was the watch you were attempting to order?

UPS drivers get prompted when they scan the package that a legible signature is required. It has to do with the value, not faster shipping.

I am not sure I never read their policy. I always buy with my credit card so worst case scenario I could do a charge back. I have only had good experiences with jomashop but if you read the comments it seems to be either a great experience or a really bad one.

I did remove it from the plastic. I do not recall if I pulled a film off of the face. The face is fine either way so not really concerning

Still working perfectly. I don’t have the equipment to test the accuracy but i can tell when I wear it for a few days in a row it’s my most accurate watch. No regrets what so ever. I love Breitling. What model are you looking at?

@@WatchUnwind I received my new Longines Hydroconquest Automatic. It’s a handsome watch but it isn’t running right. This is my first Automatic, so I think it may be me that is doing something wrong. I’m not sure what to do. The second hand keeps stopping. I may start drinking again over this. Help. My experience with Jomashop was outstanding! Kamilla, and were so helpful and professional. I would definitely purchase from Jomashop again.

@@graycloud057 that doesn’t sound good, did you make sure to wind it all the way up before you put it on. If you just put an automatic watch on without winding it it’s not going to have enough momentum to kee going. Also make sure the crown is pushed upon the way in and locked. If all that is done than you might unfortunately have to contact Jomashop and let them know. How often is it stopping and for how long ?

@@WatchUnwind - It was stopping quite a bit. I think I have it wound all the way and pushed in properly. For the last 20 minutes it’s kept perfect time and hasn’t stopped. I’m new to the “ automatic”watch. I’m sure it was quite the operator and not the watch,lol.

Just as good as the day I bought it. I don’t have the machine to get the exact + or - seconds a day but it seems pretty spot on accurate. Also I’d say is the most accurate out of my other three watches a Hamilton Kahki titanium automatic , seiko alpinist, and Longines hydroconquest.

Max there is definitely no factory seiko warranty but they do have a Jomashop warranty. Not sure how it would work with it being a gift I would think that if there was an issue they could perhaps use your cell number and email and then be all set. Some people state they have issues with Jomashop Warranty but I have never had any issues and this omega is still working without a hitch.

​@@WatchUnwind A little update: I got the watches today, all in perfect condition, but there is no warranty card for any of those watches. I would assume that they check for the Barcode, or the numbers on the case. But I don't worry, if the 7s26 works fluently after a one week of international shipping, I am pretty confident that it will outlast the warranty without any issues :) So my conclusion is: I would buy "cheap" watches again from Jomashop. But some kind of warranty card for more expensive watches would be mandatory.

If you had any issues they would probably just want the order number in the receipt, it’s time stamped so they could see when you bought them. After ordering a 5k watch on Jomashop for 3.9k and having no issues with it it would be really hard for me to go anywhere else if the same watch was available for less on Jomashop. There are watches Jomashop doesn’t have, usually the newest models or certain brands like grand seiko which I’d have to buy full price if I wanted new. In most cases I’d go Jomashop or used at least. A new watch is a good way to lose money unless it’s a Rolex sports model

@@builderphill1361 Of yourse its up to you what you consider "cheap" and what "expensive". So for the Seiko 5s I bought I can tell you: They cost 99$ each plus interntional shipping, but you won't get them for under 170 EUR in my country (with warranty card). By the way, I did this a second time, with six of the same watches again, and all were in perfect, new condition, too (and I sold them for 150 EUR each ;) ) but two of the thin outside Seiko card board boxes were in not so good condition. I looked up your watch, first of all thats some great looking watches, I especially like the black dial ones! From my personal experience: You won't get ripped off. They sell and deliver new items, if something is wrong you can sent them back or open a PayPal case, the outer box might be a little damaged just from being stored and transported in the warehouse. You pay about the same amount of money for one watch that I paid twice for six watches. So my opinion is: -If you can't get the watch for a more or less similar or maybe 10-20% higher price in your own location... -If you can't get a barely used one (or don't want to get a used one) from a private seller nearby (I would try that tbh, because private sellers with a watch collection normally know a lot about their watches, keep them in good condition and can answer your questions, give you hints, etc.)... ...then go for it on Jomashop!

I think it’s possible that you have an older version of the aqua racer. It’s been out for along time with many different iterations, most likely you did not buy the brand new mode that they would have at the AD. I guess the world is crazy and anything can happen but never through any so cute have I heard of Jomashop selling fake watches. I would never buy from somewhere if I thought there was a 0.01 chance of getting a fake watch.

How long did it take to get your money back?? I was gonna purchase from JomaShop but I live in Canada and I read their international shipping policy and for lost items it says 45 days before they even make a claim.

They sometimes do not sell with any box. They definitely don’t sell fake. If you were nervous you could take it by a boutique but I wouldn’t but there if I considered it even a .01% probability

They do not sell fake watches, but yes when you buy grey market you do not get a factory warranty card. Thus the price difference
