Could be something in the diet, but who fucken knows. I can pop almost every joint (fingers, toes, wrists, knees, elbows, shoulders, spine, neck, sometimes the jaw, but that one feels different). It used to be only fingers, but over the next 15 years other joints joined.

I cannot express how much I love this channel. My knees have been popping, pain free fortunately, for 2 decades while squatting. I tried the band / goblet squat move and not a single pop. I can’t wait to implement this in my routine. As someone who also has a pancaked L5/S1 disc, his videos have been very helpful in navigating those waters.

No, a single pop with a reload period before the same spot pops again is a gas bubble. This however is the sound of tendons that are aligned over a bone or tough cartilage in a more relaxed position, snapping over that bone and moving to a lower point when in a stretched position, and then returning to original position when the joint (knees, etc) are relaxed again, that’s why they’re heard repeatedly. In such a case, pay close attention to signs of overuse, and inflammation of the tendon (tendinitis) from the repeated rubbing and friction.

With pain yes. It used to happen to me as a kid and young adult. Worked in my diet and supplementation and it went away. Zero popping, grinding or displaced knee caps. It’s been over 20 yrs now. No knee issues and I can do deep squats.
